大學英語四、六級考試口語考試仍將與筆試分開實施，繼續採用已經實施了五年的面試型的四、六級口語考試（CET-SET）。同時，考委會將積極研究開發計算機化口語測試，以進一步擴大口語考試規模，推動大學英語口語教學。

在考務管理方面，05年6月起教育部考試中心將啟用新的四、六級考試（試點）報名和考務管理系統，嚴格認定考生報名資格，加強對考場組織和考風考紀的管理，切實做好考試保密工作。具體方案將由教育部考試中心另行公告。

由於四、六級考試是一個每年涉及上千萬考生的超大規模標准化考試，因此考試內容和形式的改革須經過一定規模的試點，對新試卷的有效性和可行性作出科學的論證，並了解師生的反饋。

為此，自2006年1月份開始，從參加大學英語教學改革試點學生中試行改革後的四級考試，自2006年6月份開始以同等方式試行新的六級考試。

初步定於2007年1月全面實施改革後的四級考試，2007年6月全面實施改革後的六級考試。考委會將按照《教學要求》制定新的四、六級考試大綱和樣題，並及時向教師和學生公布。

任何一項大規模標准化考試的發展都是一個不斷改進和完善的過程。四、六級考試十七年的發展歷程也證明了這一點。國家改革開放對我國大學生的英語交際能力不斷提出更高的要求，因此，四、六級考試中長期改革任務仍十分艱巨。

考試委員會將不斷研究開發適合四、六級考試的新題型，研究改革後的四、六級考試對教學的後效；同時，充分利用高科技手段，完善考務管理系統。

實現四、六級考試網上閱卷（CET-Online Marking），研究計算機化的四、六級考試（CET-CBT），爭取在一定考生范圍內或在某種能力測試中實現四、六級機考。

二、算分標准

1、寫作

33分--條理不清、思路紊亂，語言支離破碎或大部分句子均有錯誤，且多數為嚴重錯誤。

39分--基本切題。表達思想不清楚連貫性差。有較多嚴重的語言錯誤。

45分--基本切題。有些地方表達思想不夠清楚，文字勉強連貫;語言錯誤相當多，其中有一些是嚴重錯誤。

57分--切題。表達思想清楚，文字連貫，但有少量語言錯誤。

67分--切題。表達思想清楚，文字通順。連貫性較好，基本上無語言錯誤，僅有個別小錯。

文字不足酌情扣分：100-119扣1分；90-99扣3分；80-89扣4分；70-79扣5分；60-69扣6分；50-59扣7分；不足50扣9分。

2、聽力

聽力理解共35個，包括短對話、長對話、短文聽力及短文聽寫。聽力對話及短文聽力共25題，每1題算1個，共25個;短文聽寫共11題，其中單詞聽寫8題，每2題算1個，句子聽寫共2題，每1題算2個，共10個。

3、閱讀

閱讀理解共35個，包括快速閱讀，篇章詞彙或短句問答，篇章閱讀。快速閱讀共10題，每1題算1個，共10個;篇章詞彙每2個空算1個，短句問答共5題或8題，每1題算1個或0.625個，共5個;篇章閱讀共10題，每1題算2個，共20個。

4、綜合

綜合測試共15個，包括完形或改錯，翻譯。完形共20題，每2題算1個，共10個;改錯共10題，每1題算1個，共10個;翻譯共5題，每1題算1個，共5個。

四級考試單項分共分為四個部分：聽力（35%）、閱讀（35%）、完型填空或改錯（10%）、作文和翻譯（20%）。

各單項報道分的滿分分別為：聽力249分，閱讀249分，翻譯106分，作文106分。各單項分相加之和等於總分（710分）

教育部決定，從今年6月起，教育部考試中心正式參與大學英語四六級考試組考。與此同時，從2007年1月起，大學英語四六級考試將只接受在校生報名。

另據了解，目前，畢業兩年內仍需參加四六級考試的本科畢業生，可在原高校報考。2007年1月起，四六級考試不再接受非在校生報名。

符合大學英語四級考試報名條件的人員包括：全日制普通高校專科、本科和研究生中的在校生；各類全日製成人高校本科、專科在校生，修完大學英語四級課程；實行標准分後，修完大學英語六級課程且大學英語四級考試達到一定分數，(由於新考試尚未開考，具體分數待定)；本校已設考點的，原則上不得跨校考試。

據介紹，在即將開始的2005年6月大學英語六級考試報名中，仍要求考生出示英語四級考試合格證，否則不能報考。
