閱卷老師在語言方面主要從兩個方面進行評判：
1、基本正確
四、六級考生的最大問題不是寫得太簡單,而是嚴重錯誤太多.基礎一般的同學即使使用小學或中學詞彙和句型,只要使用得基本正確,也可以得到及格分數.考生最常犯的語言錯誤有三類：語法、拼寫、標點.最常犯的語法錯誤包括：時態、冠詞、主謂一致、名詞單復數等.
2、豐富多變
