本次活動主要是為了大一新生能夠更好更快的適應大學英語的學習並讓即將要參加英語四級的同學順利通過考試。首先由我院五位已參加考試並通過的同學分享她們的成功經驗，針對聽力、閱讀、寫作、翻譯等方面作了詳細的講解，以及答題要求和技巧做了細致的解說，並對同學們提議平時要多注意詞彙的積累，多背一些名言名句，以備寫作的需要。其次明院代表也為同學們分享了她們的學習方法、做題經驗、考試技巧、心態問題等，最後由英語讀書社的指導老師進行了點評與總結。 本次交流會在掌聲中結束。此次活動為同學順利通過四級提供了寶貴的經驗，使同學們能夠用最高效的方法學習英語，提高學習英語的效率。

2013年月21日，新東方優秀的四六級、口語老師謝德斌，外教Nick和四六級講師宋逸軒老師走進武漢輕工大學，為同學們帶來了一場以四六級備考與英語口語學習規劃為主題的講座。

當晚18時30分，講座正式在武漢輕工大學文官樓118教室開講。為了能近距離一睹新東方名師風采，講座開始前半小時，教室就已坐滿了慕名而來的輕工大學的同學們。
首先開講的是我們幽默可愛的外教Nick，他率先向大家介紹了一些簡單的肢體語言在國內外所表達的不同含義，以此瞬間調動了學生的熱情。他與學生之間的互動環節讓不僅讓現場的學生們捧腹大笑，還讓大家深刻理解到了學習英語口語的重要性。除此之外，他還在現場安排了游戲環節，以這樣的方式讓現場的同學們迅速融入到一個快樂學習英語口語的環境，認真的去體會和感受到學習英語口語其實是一件很有趣的事情。
接下來是帥氣的謝德斌老師為學生詳細講解怎樣提高英語口語，他在講解練習英語口語的每個誤區時都會在裡面穿插一個幽默的小故事，有趣的故事內容讓學生更容易理解，更輕易地學會避免養成壞習慣。現場，他還結合自己的經驗向同學們傳授了如何去學習外國人表達的思維方式，並以一段簡單地對話就讓所有學生折服，將講座推向高潮。
在短暫中場休息後，宋逸軒老師走上講台為同學們詳細講解了四六級改革的考點和考試難點。她從閱讀的速度，短文中從句的理解，以及在短文中尋找答案的方法等方面入手，結合歷年考題中長短句的理解和詞彙含義的講解，為同學們總結出了一套提高閱讀的練習的方式和方法。講座中，宋逸軒老師針對中國考生普遍寫作模板化的問題，提出了提高寫作得分的方法。現場學子們紛紛表示，宋老師對寫作和聽力方法的解析及建議，讓他們受益匪淺。

整場講座，現場氣氛十分活躍，講師們以風趣幽默，生動形象的實例講解激發了現場同學們的熱情，並認真記下現場老師們所講的一些重要信息。

晚20時30分，講座結束，但應現場同學們的強烈要求，老師們繼續為大家解答了一些關於英語學習、提高及培養興趣等方面的問題。最後，在同學們的依依不捨中講座漸漸落下帷幕。

9. 如何做一名有教育激情的中學英語教師

具體要求如下：

一、好教師教給學生學習方法教育的本質是把知識信息、價值觀念移植到學生的大腦中,一名合格的教師只教會學生知識,最好的教師教給學習的方法.教師要在自己的教法樹上嫁接別人好的做法.不同的學生需要不同的教學方法.

二、分析學生的學習優勢,適度控制課堂.在我們的教學中,不能把學生當機器,把自己的教學復制到學生的大腦中,要採用適合自己和學生教法,激發學生心智,培養出各異的創新人才.1、 每個學生學習知識的優勢是不一樣的.眼睛是攝入大腦信息量最多的器官,其次是耳朵.有的學生通過讀記憶效果最好,是視覺學習者；有的學生不讀,理解記憶效果最好,有的學生需要講出來,記憶效果最好,是動覺學習者.有的學生是聽覺學習者.我們需要讓學生體驗一下,通過哪種方法自己的記憶效果最好.讓學生分析自己是哪種學習者,學生找規律記憶就會使學習不痛苦.我在反思,早讀學生背單詞時,我總是要求手、腦、眼並用,實際上是沒有針對學生實際去教學,用了「一刀切」的方法是不可取的,沒有因材施教.2、 當所有肢體處於放鬆時,大腦是處於最機警的狀態.因此,只要學生注意力必須在老師那裡,我們就不應該強制性要求學生的坐姿,學生上課眼睛瞪著轉筆時,不要管他,只要他能跟著老師腦子轉就行,不要把學生從大腦高度集中中吵醒.正如一個專家所講：「對學生的掌控就像手裡握著的小鳥.」

三、課堂教學設置要合理.1、 不要上「花課」,一節課課堂活動不易過多,目的性要強,每個活動的設置教師必須掌握這個活動的規則,包括時間、參與個數.教師發出的指令要清晰,而有意義.設置活動時搞明白「why,what,how」.2、 課堂評價不能濫用.很簡單的一個活動,學生在完成後,就用「clever」對學生來說是一個侮辱,激勵和表揚的用語不合適.3、 閱讀的方法要恰當.朗讀絕不可以去理解意義,提取語言意義,必須用大腦去思考,不要出聲去讀.朗讀在於練音.4、 信息差是有效的教學方法.信息差（information gap）是一種懸念,創設信息差很重要.
