In their opinion, if everyone always sticks to the old fashion, there won't be any change and naturally there won't be progress. As for me, I agree with the latter opinion. Moreover, one should have one's own characteristics. If everyone follows the same fashion, there will not be variety and the whole society will be monotonous.

現在越來越多的年輕人喜歡趕時髦，對於這一現象，不同的人有不同的看法。有人認為為了不被輕視或被認為古怪應該趕時髦，但是也有人認為應該有自己的判斷。
那些持第一種觀點的人認為社會在進步應該使自己適應不斷的變化。他們認為如果人人總是堅持舊的方式，就不會有變化，自然也就不會有進步。比較起來，持第二種觀點的人認為不應該不加辨別地趕時髦，應該有自己的判斷和特點。
就我看采，我同意後者的意見。誠然，人應該靈活以適應形勢，但是這並不是說應該不加辨別地趕時髦，因為它也許沒有益處，我們應該考慮它是有利還是不利，而且，應該有自己的特點。如果人人都趕同樣妁時髦，就不會有變化，整個社會就單調如二。

Finally,it is not to follow the fashion but to study hard that teachers and parents want their children to do,if a student always keeps his eyes on the in-items,he may also affect others' mind,which can result in a misled custom in the class that everyone pays much attention to the fashion.This is really serious,even destructive to the ecational system.
In a word,I don't think it is good for middle school students to follow the fashion.
