Scientific and technological developments, social evolution, understandings towards nature and history are all progressing. They need people of deeper studies to carry further. Traditional ideas in many areas are becoming obsolete and the society wants fresh thoughts to remodel it, and make it a better environment for human beings. All these will be possible only based on further studies, researches and more specialized work, rather than relying on the basic disciplines of past knowledge.

On the other hand, it also reflects a trend in which the undergraates have intense competition in the employment market. Increasing numbers of them are unable to find a job of their studies at the graation, and have to give up what they have learned and go into other professions only to be surviving. This is a huge waste of the national ecation resources, particularly considering that four years ago these students took the positions in the colleges and deprived their competitors' chance of entering tertiary ecations.
