我是英語老師。。。因為我們英語專業是考專業八級，所以我自己沒有考過。但我從老師的角度提供一些建議，都是我考試前發給我自己學生的tips：對付四級考試最有效的辦法就是從歷年真題入手（網路上可下載、或者去購買真題點評的書），學習步驟是（1）在規定時間內完成練習，核對答案，分析錯誤原因；（2）精讀聽力原文和閱讀了解的文章；（3）跟讀聽力；朗讀閱讀的文章。一分耕耘一分收獲，有付出肯定有回報！在平時總結自己的薄弱項，專門攻克這些分項。單詞的話就是平時多途徑積累，背單詞，這是基礎。但是可以把常見的，考過的單詞集中起來，有就是我們平時說的「高頻詞彙」，復習就有針對性了，也省時間。聽力，堅持每天都聽，重在反復。聽的內容不要求很難，最好是你大部分聽得懂，關鍵在於反復聽。如果你長時間不聽，你會發現你對聽力的反應特別慢，所以一定要堅持。小竅門就是在著急的時候要學會簡寫縮寫，一個沒跟上也要往下跟著走，不能因小失大。聽力對完答案後不要急著看原文，先把答案分析下，然後繼續聽一遍。如果這時候你能找到問題的關鍵句就可以了。如果不行就看原文，然後再回去做一遍，直到自己可以聽懂原文為止。大多聽力題目的思路是一樣的，問題也是一個套路，可以找到規律的。而且不要在睡覺前聽，不然你考試時候形成條件反射，一聽見播音就犯困了。。。閱讀能力也是培養出來的，可以看小說或者報紙，作用很大，可以潛移默化地提高單詞量，不知不覺中，積累一些好的詞彙和句子了。還可以擴充你的知識面，增強語感。考試的時候，先看問題，再畫好關鍵詞，再讀原文可以快一些。選擇答案時不要選那些絕對化說法的答案。此外，平時做練習時候一定要掐表算時間，很多學生都是會做卻來不及，就可惜了。如果實在不夠時間，作文千萬不要少一段，因為段落結構不完整的話基本都是打不及格的。一定要快速弄出一個結尾段，總比沒寫好。可以背誦一些精彩的轉折用語，因為英語作文強調結構嚴謹，起承轉合非常重要，用一目瞭然的關鍵轉折詞可以對你的分數大有好處。可以借鑒一些精彩的開頭句，過渡句，或者結尾句，注重每一段顯眼的地方。考試前幾天就要調整好作息時間，以免考試時候是你平時的睡覺時間，犯困就難免了。要把效率最高的時間段安排在上午的考試時間段。最後，要檢查該帶的各種東西，鉛筆，證件什麼的。祝大家都有好成績！

In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.
To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. Chinese Speaking Contest

To improve students』 ability to speak Chinese and enrich after-class activities, the Students』 Union of Department of Chinese Language and Literature is organizing a school-wide Chinese speaking contest to be held on Saturday next week (10 February) at the Students』 Auditorium. Those who are interested in taking part in it may sign up with the monitor of their classes before Tuesday next week. Five professors will be invited to be judges. The first six winners will be given awards. Everybody is welcome to be present at the contest.
