作文跟詞彙和語法都有很大關系，詞彙決定了你作文內容的豐富程度，而語法決定了你作文的正確程度。平常可以有計劃地每天背一些單詞，日積月累詞彙量就會增大很多。而語法除了有意識地看看語法書外，更重要的在於去運用，在閱讀中分析句子的語法結構，並有意識地模仿。

當然，作文光說不練是不夠的，可以從詞彙、句型、段落、篇章布局四個角度，依據不同的文章體裁，分別准備。借鑒範文和模板可以，但不能依靠這些，否則作文就容易落入俗套，引起閱卷老師反感。多嘗試自己去寫，比如給自己規定每周一篇作文，把這一周學到的單詞、句型結合起來，真正做到學以致用，到時候考試的時候這些內容就可以信手拈來。
