A. 怎樣使用《英語初級聽力》鍛煉聽力
選用的系統聽力材料，內容最好不要超出所學詞彙和語法范圍，由淺入深，循序漸進。聽得懂，才有聽下去的興趣。
聽這類材料要精聽，遇到困難的語音、詞、句可以停下錄音機，把磁帶倒回重聽，直到把全部內容聽懂理解為止；除此之外，還應選用一些其他輔助聽力材料，最好內容不要超出所學詞彙和語法范圍，由淺入深，循序漸進。聽的過程中不必停頓，聽懂大意就行。這類泛聽材料可以廣泛一些，文章、故事、對話、采訪、報告等等，凡是適合自己聽力水平的材料均可用來泛聽。
無論聽哪種材料，聽之前最好不要先看文字材料（練習除外），應先把錄音內容聽一遍，了解大意，聽的時候要集中精力，大腦的反應要盡量跟上錄音速度。
在聽的過程中常會遇到這種情況，有些詞聽上去很熟，但一下子想不起是什麼意思，或者有些詞聽上去很陌生。這時不要停下來去想，否則會影響聽下面的內容。在有問題時可回想一下，看是否能從上下文推測出其含義。再者，不必把每個詞都要弄個清清楚楚，有些並不影響理解的詞可以忽略。另外，不要聽一句，腦子里翻譯一句，要盡量做到思維跟上錄音材料的速度，聽得懂材料里說了些什麼，目的也就達到了。
對於那些只有聽一次機會的聽力內容，如電視、廣播的英語節目，一開始可能聽不懂什麼，要堅持聽，只要聽個大概也就行了。

你說的是不是外研社出的英語初級聽力listen to this?
怎麼說呢，我是英語專業的，專這書是我們英屬語老師推薦的，不過我們買了之後都沒怎麼做，因為這書的題型不管對專業4級或大學4級都沒什麼幫助，當然也就沒了動力。而且如果說中級，題目偏簡單，內容比較枯燥，做不下去也很正常。
