英語AB級要考聽力。

考試方式為筆試，包括五個部分：聽力理解、語版法結構、閱讀理解、翻譯（英譯漢）和權寫作。

英語AB級每年的報名、考試時間和大學英語四六級基本是同時的，一般在每年六月份和十二月份。例如四六級在周六考，則英語AB級考試在周日考。具體報名和考試時間請留意當年發布。
