有的來省份有，有的省份沒源有。《高考聽力》部分是整套高考英語試卷中最簡單的部分，是拿分點。有時不單單考察你的英語聽力水平，同時還會考察你臨場應變能力、猜題能力、記憶能力等等。目前已有多數省份取消此項考試。

從2016年開始，新課標全國卷分為Ⅰ卷、Ⅱ卷、Ⅲ卷。並且從2016年開始，全國Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ卷分別改稱為全國乙、甲、丙卷。小語種（日語/俄語/法語/德語/西班牙語）高考統一使用全國卷，各省均無自主命題權，且不分甲、乙、丙卷。
