這種題來目如果是聽力題，的確較難源。
但是如果有閱讀材料，就比較簡單了。

樓主要分清sign up for Friday's meeting和sign up on Friday的區別。
前面是指「報名參加周五的會議」，而後者指「在周五報名參加（會議）」。

問題是問「在周五有多少人預計要報名參會」，而答語中的There'll be at least half that many signing up on Friday意思是「在周五最少會有一半那麼多人要報名參會」。
第一句There are only fifty people signed up for Friday's meeting指明「目前只有50人報名參加周五的會議」，所以「在周五還至少會有25人報名參會」，答案當然選A了。
