Improve Your English Through Practice
After2 or3 years' English learning, you will probably wonder how to further improve your English. When you speak, do not translate what you want to say from Chinese into English. If you do, you'll get mixed up in some usages①. You'll consider「wait」as a transitive ② verb, for instance. You'll never add 「to」after「listen」,but you might write 「sheeps」 for the plural form, though you know they're wrong when the mistakes are pointed out.
Therefore, to improve your English, you need to practise your spoken English, and think in English. That is to say, you should build up your sense of the English language.
Grasp any chance to speak English. When you see a desk, for example, have the word in your mind; say「What's the time? It's….」when you see a clock. In this way, you'll be able to learn with ease and use with freedom. For example, you'll be able to tell that「Korea Lies to the east of China.」but「Guangzhou Likes in the south of China.」without hard thinking.
We're learning English as a foreign Language. It is true that we cannot learn it without any grammatical rules. But, your sense of grammatical rules comes from constant③ use of language. It's unnecessary to recite the rules and apply④ the rules in speaking. In a word, you will improve your English only by opening your mouth to practise. Practice makes perfect.
「What if I make mistakes in speaking English?」Do not worry. You needn't be afraid of making mistakes. Even when people speak their native language, they may make various kinds of mistakes! Further, many kinds of mistakes will be rubbed off in the process of learning through practice.

想寫好作文，在我看來，無非有以下幾點：
1.嚴謹的布局：
正所謂萬事開頭難，不過只要開了個好頭，這篇作文就會很好寫了。
鳳頭：是文章的首段，是閱卷老師首先入眼的地方，一定要做好整篇文章的中心把握，要做到下文與首段上下連貫，緊密結合，要通過開頭使下文有可寫之處，開頭要達到讓閱卷老師耳目一新的效果。例如，巧用排比，比喻，擬人等修辭手法，並且通過這些修辭手法，而統領全文主旨。
豬肚：在一篇上好的文章中，分段都會恰到好處，而當文章中只有一大段或兩三段時，這篇文章即使文采再出眾，也不會有太高的分數，因為閱卷老師在中考判卷時，每三分鍾就要判出一份作文，工作量相當大，如果不善於分段，閱卷老師可能失去耐心，從而看不完，就會草草的給出分數。所以，在我看來，一篇文章至少要分 6-8個段，但不是一行或幾行一段，而是要看起來像豆腐塊，一塊塊整齊的排列在一起，使文章緊中有松，鬆弛有度。要看上去整篇文章是一個整體，而不是零散的。2014中考作文寫作技巧及方法
豹尾：在文章的最後處，應當讓主題更突出鮮明，升華主題思想，使豹尾抽起來!或讓人感到峰迴路轉，柳暗花明或更進一步的特殊效果。在文章末尾，應當再次點題，緊扣中心思想，讓貫穿始終的中心思想繼續延伸，引人深思。特別是要在結尾處，與開頭形成呼應，對比，遞進等等，來引發閱讀老師的共鳴!
2.細膩的文筆：不管是記敘，議論還是散文;不管是寫人寫事還是寫景。都要用細膩的文筆呈現出來，使文章中點更突出，讓閱卷老師在看試卷的過程中，有深思，放慢閱讀速度和重復閱讀的情況出現，讓閱卷老師身臨其境，從而使文章更具靈性。
3.貫穿始終的思想感情：在一篇布局格式上很得當，錯落有致的文章上，還必須要有一條貫穿始終的思想路線，這條線就像魚的脊椎一樣重要，這條線一定要清晰，明確，千萬不可含混不清。
把握好這幾點，一篇好的中考作文已經大致成型，不過要想在中考中脫穎而出，這僅僅是開始。

I. to the point（切題）
不管什麼考試都有作文，我們要做的第一點就是不能跑題，一旦跑題，作文分數直接不及格。那為什麼還有很多人跑題呢？在英語考試中，大多數情況是因為單詞不認識，因為不認識單詞，所以導致題目沒看懂。
II. Vocabulary（詞彙）
從詞彙上提高有2個方向。一個是積累高分同義詞，另一個是積累替換短語。
III. Grammar (語法)
如何從語法上提升寫作水平呢？主要遵循以下2個原則：
1）多變句式。一篇好的作文並不是長難句扎堆的，而是長短句結合。比如topic sentence（主旨句），我們最好簡單句寫，簡短有力，直接表明觀點。
英語中簡單句有5種,分別是：

我們在寫作中最好能夠同時用上這5種簡單句型，這樣文章句式變化多樣，會很有節奏感。
1簡單句適合寫主旨句，而從句適合展開論證。我們在解釋觀點時要多寫從句，英語中從句有6大類：主語從句、賓語從句、同位語從句、表語從句、定語從句和轉語從句。在這里我也不展開講了，主要給你分享方法。
2，多用高分句型。高分作文和高分句型是標配，比如非限定性定語從句、非謂語句型、倒裝句、強調句和獨立主格等。
IV. cohesion 和coherence（邏輯和連貫）
一篇文章是由句子構成的，句子和句子之間不能孤立存在，而是有邏輯並連貫的。初學者寫作文在這一點上往往做得比較差，你會發現他們的句子和句子之間沒有邏輯，東一句西一句，想到哪寫到哪。這種作文即使詞彙和語法不錯，也很難拿高分。
英語作文中常用的邏輯關系有8種：因果、轉折、對比、讓步、假設、下定義、舉例、限定范圍。

Psychologists agree that one important factor is a person's social contacts, e.g. friends, family members, coworkers, etc. We depend on various people for different reasons. However. psychologists have found that, though lonely people may have many social contacts, they sometimes feel they should have more. They question their popularity.

Psychologists are trying to find ways to help habitually lonely people: they are unhappy and unable to socialize and there is a connection between chronic loneliness and serious illness such as heart disease. While temporary and situational loneliness can be a normal, healthy part of life, chronic loneliness can be a sad, and sometimes dangerous condition.
