Some people think we should keep all the money we earn and not pay tax to the state. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people may feel it is their rights to retain their money without paying taxes. However, I believe paying a certain portion of their income to the governments is eventually beneficial to all.
Rather than a deprivation of people』s rights to their earnings, taxation is a way to ensure that such rights do exist. At first glance, it seems unreasonable that people should be compelled to give up part of their money, because people earn their money through their own work and they should have the rights to the fruit of their work. However, such rights can hardly exist if they are not protected by the governments. For example, when crimes are rampant and the country is conquered and enslaved by a foreign foe, people』s lives will be endangered, not to mention their rights to their earnings. To protect such rights, the country needs efficient legal institutions and strong armed forces, which involve a cost. This cost need to be shared by people in the form of taxation.
In addition, taxation can also help to amplify people』s enjoyment of their earnings. It is true that paying taxes leads to people』s income being reced. However, even without paying the taxes, ordinary indivials would not be so rich as to afford a private park or a large library. Through government spending, which is made possible by taxes from a huge number of people, they can access and enjoy some large-scale facilities, such as hospitals, parks, libraries and highways. In this way, people can enjoy more than what they can indivially afford.
Understandably, there may be concerns that some people are too poor to pay taxes, or that governments may not use the taxes effectively for common good causes. But these questions are related to how taxes should be collected and how they should be managed. For the sake of protecting people』s rights to their earnings and making the best use of the earnings, I therefore argue that people should contribute part of their income to the state revenue.

談到英語文體時，我們說每一種文章都是有自己的套路和模式，議論文也一樣。一篇議論文首先就要有一篇議論文的結構，反映到雅思考試中，則一般分為等分型（即討論題目中給出的觀點的利弊兩方面）以及一面倒型（即旗幟鮮明地贊成該觀點的某一方面）。這四位同學使用的寫作結構均為等分型。課堂上，曾經有一些學生提出這樣的疑問： 「老外是不是比較喜歡一面倒的辯論方式？」我想這幾位同學的高分作文是對這個問題的最好回答。當然這也不等於說老外比較喜歡等分型。雅思是科學的考試，評分都有嚴格的標准。只要是好文章，都會得到好分數的。
此外，這些學生都很好地利用上經典套句。比如黃文婷、馬婷婷、葉綠菁和李遼四位同學分別用了Attitudes towards this issue vary greatly，Views on this controversial issue vary greatly，Notions about it vary greatly和People hold diverse views towards it四個異曲同工的句子，表達了「人們對此看法不一」這個概念，然後順理成章地引出正反雙方的觀點。
用詞的准確性和多變也很值得一提。黃文婷遇到的雅思考題為「是否應該加大對肇事司機的懲處力度」。在提到「實施(懲罰)」時，她用過的動詞包括「to impose … on」、「to carry out」和「to enforce」。馬婷婷的考題是「經濟是否是評價一個國家成功的唯一標准」。在表達經濟概念的時候，她用過的名詞包括「economic factor，economic growth，economic development，domestic economy， a sound economic system」等等。這種用不同的詞彙表達同樣的意義的能力，是雅思寫作標准中對考生明確提出的要求，也是小馬過河一直向學生強調的寫作原則。
句式多變也是雅思寫作標准中的明確要求之一。我們看看高分同學作文中的句式。李遼的考題是「動物實驗」，所用的句式包括賓語從句、非限定性定語從句、原因狀語從句、條件狀語從句、形式主語、並列句等等。而葉綠菁的考題是「移民後是否應該拋棄自己原有的文化」，她所用過的句型包括時間狀語從句、條件狀語從句、從句做賓語等。她的文章中突出的一個特點就是形式主語使用次數比較多，而眾所周知，形式主語是比較經典的英語句式。

雅思寫作應注意一下幾點：
1、注重寫好文章的框架
我曾經問過我們世紀雅思的外教老師， 外國人看文章最注重的是什麼， 他告訴我說是文章的framework. 即一篇文章好不好， 首先看的不是他的句型， 詞彙， 或是論點等。 而是段落之間的銜接一定要十分清楚，我們不能老是採用大三段的形式-開頭，經過， 結尾。我們可以多用用連接詞， 例如：first of all, morever, secondly, lastly等，另外可以多分自然段， 給考官一目瞭然的感覺。還有我們可以多看看國外的文章， 看看他們的寫作模式， 我當初寫文章的時候， 用的就是我看到一篇國外文章的模式，我覺得可以套用， 我最後介紹給大家。
2、句型的多樣化
如果一篇文章， 從頭到尾， 永遠用的只有一種句型， 那麼這篇文章一定拿不到高分，我們可以適當的改換一下句型， 我給大家一定建議，希望給大家有點幫助。
3、基本句型包括 Ⅰ．主謂句；Ⅱ. There be；Ⅲ. 主系表結構的句子；Ⅳ. 被動語態（我看到一張帖字說， 不要用被動， 我不這樣認為， 國外的文章， 用被動的也比比皆是。）
4、復雜句型 包括 Ⅰ. 並列句；Ⅱ. 從句（定語，狀語，名詞性，非謂語）
5．詞彙的Variety
說實話做到這點真的很難， 首先你要有龐大的詞彙量，第二你要用的恰當，不出錯誤。我自認做不到這點，所以我用的詞彙有時候會重復。當然大家可以累計一些固定搭配的詞彙，例如：激烈的競爭 fierce competition等
6、多舉EXAMPLE（重要）
大家不要小看這點， 我認為對於寫作基礎不是很好的考生來說， 這點是最重要的。一篇文章如果讓你從頭到尾都在講道理， 你有這么多話要說嗎？而且有時候還不一定說的清楚。那麼這時候你就用例子來表明你的觀點。我認識一個朋友， 可以說她的英語基礎很差， 但她的文章也拿了6分， 我問她怎麼寫的， 她告訴我說就是拚命的舉例子。就這點我也曾問過外教老師， 他曾是IELTS的考官， 他說考官歡迎考生多舉例子。
7、建議：
1）、寫文章最關鍵的就是審題千萬不要出錯誤， 不然就前功盡棄了。
2）例如我積累的句子：
Cultivate independence
Develop a strong sense of responsibility
Enhance social awareness
Build up one』s confidence and offer one』s a sense of achievement—realize ones value and capacity
Widen one』s horizon and sharp one』s character
這些句子比較常用， 而且在口語考試中也可以派上用處。最後給大家介紹一種寫作模式，我覺得很不錯：

樓主先要把字寫夠不要有太多的語法錯誤就至少有5分了，當初我就是這樣考了.5什麼都沒背……
第一 first and foremost=in the first place
第二what』s more=moreover=in the second place
第三【末】就last of all 吧
