了解了關於人物的描述方法，我們還要結合具體的題目來回答每一個題目，例如在描述 「describe a person who has an important job」時，除了對於人物的描述外還需要重點描述 「why the job is important」. 結合今年考到的這些題目，例如考到 「describe a polite person」的時候，要結合一個關於禮貌的說法， 「offer his seat(讓座)，make eye contact, carry on telephone conversations in a low voice in public」. 考到 「a famous person」 時,更要結合具體的實例來，如說到姚明時，我們可以列舉一些他所做的慈善工作 「he did a lot of charity work. 良好的口語離不開正確的發音。小編提醒考生先要語調和節奏正確，不是各自的發音，還有它們在一起時的發音。改進發音的重要方法是練習口語。練習的方法是對廣播或電視節目(如新聞)錄音30秒，然後自己重述，以此來對比自己的發音與廣播電視節目里發音的不同。考生要連續不斷地練習。這是一個緩慢的過程，在能正確地發音之前，可能需要重復多次很困難的發音。
方法三：下載BBC News，或美劇英劇，進行跟讀
考生要正確發音，還要提高流利程度。流利指的是毫不費力地敘述一件事情。與是否可以正確發音相比，流利程度與心理因素有更多關系。要做到流利，考生要對自己的詞彙量以及將每個單詞以合乎語法的順序組合起來有足夠的信心。換句話說流利是非常自信地用英語表達自己。
方法四：還原邊聽邊跟讀
在雅思口語考前的2-3周，建議嚴格按照一季話題卡的口語話題來進行練習。可以找一些雅思口語預測題來練習，自己總結一些topic word。這些topic word能讓考官耳前一亮。你要知道不能跟別人說同樣的話題，但不代表你不能用同樣的詞彙。

I have a great father and he is my idol. I had very little memory of him as a chid because he was a truck dirver and wasn't home very often. But I would become the happiest boy every time he came home and brought souvenirs from places around the country.

But he had an accident about 5 years ago and got his collar bone fractured. He was in the hospital for 2 months. Mom was very anxious and depressed ring that time. But my father showed mom and me a lot of optimism and cheered us up every day by telling jokes. That 2 months was the darkest time ever in my life. But rainbows always come after the thunder storms, don't they?

My father recovered and quit his job as a driver. We are living happily as a family now. Although he doesn't make as much money now, I know family is the most important thing and we should cherish it, being rich or poor.
