Shenanigan
Shenanigan这个词的拼写看上去不像英语，发音也比较怪，看来必有一段来历了。它的意思是“恶作剧、诡计；欺诈”。儿童之间嬉闹和商场上的欺诈都可称为shenanigan。

Out of whack
Whack是个口语，意思是“（用棍棒）猛打”，但是out of whack可跟“猛打”没有一点关系，而是用来形容“不正常、不对劲”的情形，所以下次发现有什么不对劲的情况，除了用something wrong、out of order之外，你还可以说的更地道：out of whack。

Canard
说“谣言、欺骗”，英语中有个词叫canard。Canard来自法语，本意是“鸭子，鸭式飞机”，于1864年前后在英语中出现。鸭子怎么和“欺骗”联系起来了呢？难道是鸭子生性不诚实吗？
