1、在here, there等引导的倒装句中, 当主语不止一个，此时谓语动词与最靠近它的主语在数上一致喔。

There be和Neither...nor详解：
1、There be句型
当there be后有两个或几个并列的主语时，be的单复数与其靠得最近的那个主语一致。
There is an apple,a pear and two bananas in the bag.
句意：盘子里有一个苹果，一个梨子和两个香蕉。
解析：an apple最靠近be的位置，an apple是单数，所以谓语用is。
There are two bananas,an apple and a pear in the bag.

2、Neither...nor...既不……也不……
Neither you nor he is engineer.
Neither he nor you are engineer.
解析：由于you最靠近谓语，所以充当谓语的be动词用are。这两个句子意思相同：你和他都不是工程师。

2. 非正式文体中：
有时依“就近一致原则”，但也可依“意义一致原则”或严格地依“语法一致原则”。

②Neither she nor I was there .（就近一致）（译文同上句）（正式）
但是，如果依“就近一致原则”而与其他两项原则相矛盾时，则常常认为是不太合符规范的。e.g.
