四六级考试的题型每年都有可能变动，不过两者题型不太一样。六级没有15选10的题型，这点很好。六级综合听力题听写的三个句子明显比四级要长好多（我的感觉），要注意训练。最后的综合题不是考完型就是改错，我连续考的两年都是完型，平时训练的时候我觉得改错比较难，做好灵活应变的准备。
另外，老看到很多人不停背四六级单词书。我觉得单词就不要背了，这是浪费时间，现在四六级早就不考纯词汇的题了。
还是建议把时间放在不停训练自己做历年真题上，一定要严守正式考试时间和流程，四六级最大的问题就是来不及。做完真题有余力可以做做模拟训练，推荐王长喜系列。
作文方面我觉得题目差不多，都是给一个社会话题，说说正反两方观点再说说自己的观点。一般平时多看看范文多练练笔，注意注意社会热点吧。21世纪报上常有此类正方反方辩论热点的板块，可以挑出来做做思维训练。关于文笔方面的技巧，网上、书上的介绍很多。除了背上范文里的好句技巧外，我再给你介绍一个我的窍门。平时真题集或模拟题集的题目来不及全部做，但我一定会把所有句子翻译题做掉，并把它们全记住。这些翻译题都是经典句法、语法的总结和精华，用在作文里一定可以给文章增色不少。而且，作文、翻译训练两不误。根据我的经验，翻译题考来考去就是那几个句法语法。
