给点小建议，希望对你有用：

如果你觉得自己很难下手去写一篇文章的时候，不用着急，你可以先看和分析历年的真题，从中去了解它们的特点以及难易程度。

在这个基础上，你可以去找些模板来模仿和利用，在我看来背诵范文和真题作文是大有裨益的。

然后我有些小建议，可以让你的文章加点彩的。

一、写四六级作文，有两个原则（我以老师讲的）：

1.长短句原则—— 一般议论文居多，所以可以采用三段式或四段式文章，第一段是一长一短，先长后短，让阅卷的老师觉得你有功底。主体段落宜采取一短一长，目的在于体现中心句，让文章变得有层次感，和便于让阅卷老师把握你的论点。末尾段没有特别的要求，最好是能把自己的观点深入和强化。

2.主题句原则—— 我觉得这个和上面的原则似乎重合了，我都不知道该怎么进一步解释了。总之就是每个段落都要有主题句的。

二、一些技巧：

1.熟记一些开篇的句子，比较有水平的，比如模板里的，还有就是谚语和名句啊什么的，用于开头结尾的感叹。

2.善于总结同义词，在一篇文章里你往往会用到同一个意思的单词，比如“认为”、“下降”、“增长”、“在我看来”等等这类的词，你千万不要一个“think”……到底，要灵活的用其他的词和词组替换。

3.一定要在文章中有恰当的连贯词和连贯的句子。英文和中文不同，他们讲究“形合”，我们中文讲究“意合”，所以要善于用连接词，该顺接的时候用表顺接的词，该转折的转折，该递进的递进。还有什么插入语。

4.变换句型。比如把被动句式替换主动句式，这些在四六级文章里都会是亮点。

In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.
