In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.

To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance, a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively.

答题技巧 （仅供参考）
1、听力，有三种题型，dialogue(十个对话)，passage(三个短文)，compound dictation(复合式听写，也就是传说中的段子题)，第一种每年必考，后两种逐年交替，其中考passage的次数相对较多。

最容易得分的是dialogue和passage，只要记住一个超级技巧即可：对话所述事情总是向不好的方面发展。举几个例子：比如对话里问教授的讲座lecture难不难，记住一定难，老师的作业assignment多不多，一定多，男士发出的邀请，女士会答应吗，永远不会，永远是一个傻哥们发出邀请，邀请的对象是Mary，问我们游泳好吗，滑冰好吗，跳舞好吗，吃饭好吗，Mary的回答永远是，我非常的想去，but不去，四级考了十几年了，Mary从来没有去过，今年照样不会。所以大家记住，只要是对话，必然会发生意外的事情，再举个例子，两个选项，A火车准时，B火车晚点如果你是出题老师，你怎么设置对话，当然是晚点了，准时有什么好说的，总不能两个神经病，或者是两人刚谈恋爱，来到车站，没话找话，男的说，哇，火车准时了，女的说，咿！还真准时了耶！所以准时是不可能的，不好的事情一般都是最后的答案！对于compound dictation，上学期偶运气好没有考这个，但是偶觉得这种题确实比较难，只能竖直耳朵专心听了，即使听不懂，也要根据上下文瞎猜一个，空着肯定没分，瞎猜说不定老师看错了还会给你一分！

我想补充的是，千万不要听历年真题，不管是磁带还是MP3，这些只会让你觉得更烦，偶当时就只是在偶mp3里面存了一些BACK STREET BOY的as long as you love me，I PROMISE YOU 等和Mariah carey的Always Be My Baby等等，当偶困了的时候就在自习室里假寐一会儿，听歌养神！

2、阅读，这是我们应考的重点，阅读题得分的高低直接影响到你是否能过，在这里我针对每种题型谈一谈，一事实细节题，据偶的观察，每年必考地方是列举处，即有first，sceond，in addition……的地方，还有举例与打比方的地方，即有as，such ，for instance等出现的地方，有几个应考规律，大家记住，1)选项中照抄或似乎照抄原文的一般不是答案，而同义词替换的是正确答案，

2)选项中表达意义较具体，也就是句子较长的一般不是答案而概括性的，抽象的是答案，

3)选项中有绝对语气词的比如must，never，merely等不是答案而有不十分肯定语气词的是正确答案，比如could，might，possible等。

二词义及语义判断题，常考有指代上下问语义功能的名词和一词多义的词组，另外复杂句由于其句子之间的关系复杂，也常成为考查理解能力的一种手段，大家只要记住一个规律即可，那就是选项含义与被考单词在含义上肤浅相近的一般不是答案

三推理判断题，有如下几个技巧，

1)若要求对某段内容进行推论，那么就只看题干要求作答的那一段，

2)选项中采用试探性，不十分绝对语气词的比如tend to ，offten等一般是答案，

3)符合常识逻辑的一般是答案，比方说为什么中国比较穷，是因为人口众多，为什么美国人很胖，是因为他们吃的肯德基，麦当劳太多了)。

四主旨大意题和观点态度题，这两种相对都比较难，大家的得分都不是很高，所以即使你做的不好也别太介意。这两道题，偶当时是在十分紧迫的情况下，只读了首尾段，然后迅速选择的，其实最后效果还不错，阅读考了二百多分！

3、词汇，对于这种题，当你看到偶的博客以后，回去赶紧扔掉那些什么词汇串联记忆，星火记忆，黑白记忆，什么家谱式记忆，连环记忆……之类的书吧，或者送人，或者保存好，来年卖给不懂事的大一新生们，要不就拿去垫桌角，方方正正的多好啊！偶认为背单词是一种投入和产出极不成比例的做法，极其愚昧和迷信！偶当年是这样做的，考前两天(一定不要太早，否则还会忘掉)，浏览了一下课本后面的四级词组，考试时，只要选项里有出现课本上的单词或词组，那么不要犹豫，选定她！偶还想提醒大家，千万不要在30个词汇题上浪费太多的时间，要知道每个题才0。5分啊，而阅读呢，一个2分，把时间节省出来做阅读吧！偶当时用偶的方法再加上1/4蒙题的概率，最后综合项(包括完形填空)考了一百多分。

4、完形填空题和简短回答题，这两个题也是逐年交替，其中前者出现的机会远远大于后者，如果你遇到的是完形填空题，你应该庆幸，整个四级考试中，数她最简单了，偶当时压根儿就没有看题目一眼，直到考试结束铃响了，偶才开始拿着机读卡瞎蒙，偶当时坐在最后一排，当收卷子的女老师走到偶跟前时，偶还有五道题没有涂卡，偶深情地对她说，天气很热，您也很累了吧，她笑着对偶说，谢谢，还行。在这一瞬间，偶把所有的题都涂完了。大家参加过高考的人都知道，做一个完形填空题花的时间可能超过两道阅读题，但是得分呢？相信大家都心中有数。幸亏四级考试中此题每个才0。5分，即使真正的高手在这个题上也不会超过你五分的，但是花的时间却是你的30倍左右(偶当时做这个题前后大概只用了18秒)。偶一直认为，对于完形填空，命题者的真正意图不是考查你的知识水平，而是考查你是否会合理安排时间！

如果你不幸遇到了简短回答题，说实话，偶也没有好办法，这种题虽说千年难遇一次，但是偶认为这是四级考试中最有水平，最不好应对的题，出题人一定来自天外星球！遇到这种题，如果你有兴趣，那就试一下，如果实在不会做，那么你就认倒霉吧！在大学里有一句话说的好：一生中，谁没有几次踩到大便的时候！

5、写作，偶认为这是最容易应对而且也是最容得分的题！

只需考前花9秒种，即有可能取得9分(满分100分制)以上的好成绩。偶当时只是在开考前熟记了两个比较有难度的经典句型，考试时想办法在在首句和结尾处各用了一个，然后剩余部分，或者自由发挥，或者写几段偶喜欢的英文歌词(注意不是汉语拼音的)，或者写一下李阳疯狂英语里的搞笑句子。

你不要怀疑偶的做法，现在偶给大家分析一下此法可行的原因：判卷时，每个老师桌子上都会有一大叠卷子，远远超过你高考时的复习资料，你想，只要是个人，谁会有耐心仔细看那么多的英语文章，再加上一般判卷发生在大夏天，天气闷热，心情烦躁，每天关在小屋里看偶们这些无聊低级的文章，不许上网，不许QQ，不让开MSN，更不可能写博客，好人也会被折磨疯的。所以他们判卷时，一般只看开头和收尾句，再大体看一下字数够不够，有的正在谈恋爱的老师，心情比较好，还会看有没有错误的单词，为了防止这种情况，我提醒大家，我们的目标不是写一篇惊世骇俗的文章，而是尽量在三十分种内不说一句错话，不写一个错单词。一句话，我们的目标就是--没有蛀牙！！再有，写短文时，最好用黑色钢笔，而不要用其他颜色的，特别是圆珠笔，另外，千万要注意书面整齐，据说，判卷老师大都是近世眼，对于黑色他们更为敏感，更习惯。书写也是，越整洁，他看得越清晰，心情就越好，偶们的分也就越高！偶当时做完此题，共用了八分钟，但是偶的写作成绩却是八十分

整理一点关于英语四级的报名资料，供大家参考
1.报名的对象？
如果你是大学生，很好，在自己学校的网站就可以报名，（6月的考试在3、4月报名，12月考试的在9、10月考试，）先在网站上填报信息，然后过段时间，教务处会发一个反馈信息确认表，让你签字，并一同收取报名费。有些学校要求大二以后才可以报名，这个做法其实是学校自行规定的，为的是提高一次性通过率。
如果你不是学生，原则上CET-4是不面向社会的，但有些培训四六级的结构，能够做到让你有资格报名，前提是参加他们的培训，掏银子。

英语其实并不难平时成绩能考50分努力努力就能过说说我的经验复习流程最好一开始先看高频词和词组不用太刻意背有深点的印象就好不要拿个四级字典在那背，背了不会用白背，还忘的快背句子，上口也有意思，不枯燥然后着重阅读的练习要坚持做听力在5月以后开始练习每天晚上一小段做完以后把材料自己认真朗读一遍进入六月保持每两天一套完整题答题技巧（仅供参考）1、听力，有三种题型，dialogue(十个对话)，passage(三个短文)，compounddictation(复合式听写，也就是传说中的段子题)，第一种每年必考，后两种逐年交替，其中考passage的次数相对较多。最容易得分的是dialogue和passage，只要记住一个超级技巧即可：对话所述事情总是向不好的方面发展。举几个例子：比如对话里问教授的讲座lecture难不难，记住一定难，老师的作业assignment多不多，一定多，男士发出的邀请，女士会答应吗，永远不会，永远是一个傻哥们发出邀请，邀请的对象是Mary，问我们游泳好吗，滑冰好吗，跳舞好吗，吃饭好吗，Mary的回答永远是，我非常的想去，but不去，四级考了十几年了，Mary从来没有去过，今年照样不会。所以大家记住，只要是对话，必然会发生意外的事情，再举个例子，两个选项，A火车准时，B火车晚点如果你是出题老师，你怎么设置对话，当然是晚点了，准时有什么好说的，总不能两个神经病，或者是两人刚谈恋爱，来到车站，没话找话，男的说，哇，火车准时了，女的说，咿！还真准时了耶！所以准时是不可能的，不好的事情一般都是最后的答案！对于compounddictation，上学期偶运气好没有考这个，但是偶觉得这种题确实比较难，只能竖直耳朵专心听了，即使听不懂，也要根据上下文瞎猜一个，空着肯定没分，瞎猜说不定老师看错了还会给你一分！我想补充的是，千万不要听历年真题，不管是磁带还是MP3，这些只会让你觉得更烦，偶当时就只是在偶mp3里面存了一些BACKSTREETBOY的aslongasyouloveme，IPROMISEYOU等和Mariahcarey的AlwaysBeMyBaby等等，当偶困了的时候就在自习室里假寐一会儿，听歌养神！2、阅读，这是我们应考的重点，阅读题得分的高低直接影响到你是否能过，在这里我针对每种题型谈一谈，一事实细节题，据偶的观察，每年必考地方是列举处，即有first，sceond，inaddition……的地方，还有举例与打比方的地方，即有as，such，forinstance等出现的地方，有几个应考规律，大家记住，1)选项中照抄或似乎照抄原文的一般不是答案，而同义词替换的是正确答案，2)选项中表达意义较具体，也就是句子较长的一般不是答案而概括性的，抽象的是答案，3)选项中有绝对语气词的比如must，never，merely等不是答案而有不十分肯定语气词的是正确答案，比如could，might，possible等。二词义及语义判断题，常考有指代上下问语义功能的名词和一词多义的词组，另外复杂句由于其句子之间的关系复杂，也常成为考查理解能力的一种手段，大家只要记住一个规律即可，那就是选项含义与被考单词在含义上肤浅相近的一般不是答案三推理判断题，有如下几个技巧，1)若要求对某段内容进行推论，那么就只看题干要求作答的那一段，2)选项中采用试探性，不十分绝对语气词的比如tendto，offten等一般是答案，3)符合常识逻辑的一般是答案，比方说为什么中国比较穷，是因为人口众多，为什么美国人很胖，是因为他们吃的肯德基，麦当劳太多了)。四主旨大意题和观点态度题，这两种相对都比较难，大家的得分都不是很高，所以即使你做的不好也别太介意。这两道题，偶当时是在十分紧迫的情况下，只读了首尾段，然后迅速选择的，其实最后效果还不错，阅读考了二百多分！3、词汇，对于这种题，当你看到偶的博客以后，回去赶紧扔掉那些什么词汇串联记忆，星火记忆，黑白记忆，什么家谱式记忆，连环记忆……之类的书吧，或者送人，或者保存好，来年卖给不懂事的大一新生们，要不就拿去垫桌角，方方正正的多好啊！偶认为背单词是一种投入和产出极不成比例的做法，极其愚昧和迷信！偶当年是这样做的，考前两天(一定不要太早，否则还会忘掉)，浏览了一下课本后面的四级词组，考试时，只要选项里有出现课本上的单词或词组，那么不要犹豫，选定她！偶还想提醒大家，千万不要在30个词汇题上浪费太多的时间，要知道每个题才0。5分啊，而阅读呢，一个2分，把时间节省出来做阅读吧！偶当时用偶的方法再加上1/4蒙题的概率，最后综合项(包括完形填空)考了一百多分。4、完形填空题和简短回答题，这两个题也是逐年交替，其中前者出现的机会远远大于后者，如果你遇到的是完形填空题，你应该庆幸，整个四级考试中，数她最简单了，偶当时压根儿就没有看题目一眼，直到考试结束铃响了，偶才开始拿着机读卡瞎蒙，偶当时坐在最后一排，当收卷子的女老师走到偶跟前时，偶还有五道题没有涂卡，偶深情地对她说，天气很热，您也很累了吧，她笑着对偶说，谢谢，还行。在这一瞬间，偶把所有的题都涂完了。大家参加过高考的人都知道，做一个完形填空题花的时间可能超过两道阅读题，但是得分呢？相信大家都心中有数。幸亏四级考试中此题每个才0。5分，即使真正的高手在这个题上也不会超过你五分的，但是花的时间却是你的30倍左右(偶当时做这个题前后大概只用了18秒)。偶一直认为，对于完形填空，命题者的真正意图不是考查你的知识水平，而是考查你是否会合理安排时间！如果你不幸遇到了简短回答题，说实话，偶也没有好法，这种题虽说千年难遇一次，但是偶认为这是四级考试中最有水平，最不好应对的题，出题人一定来自天外星球！遇到这种题，如果你有兴趣，那就试一下，如果实在不会做，那么你就认倒霉吧！在大学里有一句话说的好：一生中，谁没有几次踩到大便的时候！5、写作，偶认为这是最容易应对而且也是最容得分的题！只需考前花9秒种，即有可能取得9分(满分100分制)以上的好成绩。偶当时只是在开考前熟记了两个比较有难度的经典句型，考试时想法在在首句和结尾处各用了一个，然后剩余部分，或者自由发挥，或者写几段偶喜欢的英文歌词(注意不是汉语拼音的)，或者写一下李阳疯狂英语里的搞笑句子。你不要怀疑偶的做法，现在偶给大家分析一下此法可行的原因：判卷时，每个老师桌子上都会有一大叠卷子，远远超过你高考时的复习资料，你想，只要是个人，谁会有耐心仔细看那么多的英语文章，再加上一般判卷发生在大夏天，天气闷热，心情烦躁，每天关在小屋里看偶们这些无聊低级的文章，不许上网，不许QQ，不让开MSN，更不可能写博客，好人也会被折磨疯的。所以他们判卷时，一般只看开头和收尾句，再大体看一下字数够不够，有的正在谈恋爱的老师，心情比较好，还会看有没有错误的单词，为了防止这种情况，我提醒大家，我们的目标不是写一篇惊世骇俗的文章，而是尽量在三十分种内不说一句错话，不写一个错单词。一句话，我们的目标就是--没有蛀牙！！再有，写短文时，最好用黑色钢笔，而不要用其他颜色的，特别是圆珠笔，另外，千万要注意书面整齐，据说，判卷老师大都是近世眼，对于黑色他们更为敏感，更习惯。书写也是，越整洁，他看得越清晰，心情就越好，偶们的分也就越高！偶当时做完此题，共用了八分钟，但是偶的写作成绩却是八十分(满分710分制)！祝你好运！！

看完你一定会受益匪浅的：要加油哦！

买本四级的单词书，我买的是星火英语，四级单词量5000左右吧，每天背一部分，自己安排好。单词非常重要。
如果你愿意的话，再去买本语法书从头到尾好好看看。如果没耐心，就看些特殊句型。
然后做模拟卷和真题，也许开始错很多，但不要担心，只要把错了的都搞懂，慢慢就会好了。
每天都练习听力。如果你是针对考试的，就专门买那方面的联系来听。不过如果为了长期，可以听美国之声的慢速新闻。
买本书专门针对写作练习，并且每天尝试用当天学到的单词，词组和特殊句型写日记。
每天睡前读些英语文章，不用特别难的，可以选择你感兴趣的，也可以挑些小故事。
因为你基础已经很差了，所以必须每天都很用功。不能三天打鱼两天晒网。要对自己有信心。当然，你可以选择作弊之类的，但你要明白，求人不如求己，每年假答案满天飞，而且抓的一年比一年紧。考试讲究的是方法技巧，还有运气，但这些的前提都是实力。一定要每天积累，三个月足够了，加油！

我个人也建议你去下四级mp3的词汇，网络的mp3里有，有事没事就听听不错，这个蛮好的他回把每一个单的拼写及意思都回告诉你，对记单词不错。只要在网络的mp3里打大学英语四级词汇就有了
所谓“学好英文”，是指听、说、读、写四方面的能力已大致应付生活上普遍的需要。在听力方面，要能大致听懂一般性的英语演讲、新闻英语广播，以及普通电影中的英语对白等。在讲的方面，要能与英美人士就一般话题作较长时间的交谈，至于用英语问路、购物、点菜、作报告、打电话等等，也都能够应付裕如。在阅读方面，要能大致读懂英文时代周刊、新闻周刊、纽约时报、读者文摘英文版、英文中国邮报或中国日报，以及其他非特殊专门性的英文读物。凡涉及专门学科比较深奥的读物，通常需要深入钻研后始能理解，所以不必用来衡量一般水准的阅读能力。最后，在写的方面，要能用英文写一般社交或商业书信、读书或业务报告，以及普通题材的文章等等。那么，究竟要怎样做，才能有效达到上列标准呢？这实在是“老生常谈”而且“见仁见智”的问题。不过，为了抛砖引玉，乃不揣简陋，就管见所及提出下列几项建议，敬请专家惠予指正。第一，祛除学习英语的心理障碍。最常见的障碍有两种，一是决心不强，二是信心不够。其实，要想学好英文或其他任何学科，非得先下定决心学好它不可。有人学英文已有七八年甚至十几年的历史，却仍未“学好”，固然可以归咎许多因素，但最根本的原因之一恐怕是没有下定坚强的“学好英文”的决心。由于这个缘故，学习态度往往就显得相当被动或消极。

第五，尽量了解语言与文化的密切关系。事实上语言就是文化的一种象征，所以透过一国语言可以深入观察该国的文化。本来这是很简单的道理，可是却被很多人忽视了。就英文而言，常听见“英式英语”、“美式英语”，及“黑人英语”等类“英语”，各有各的特色，而那些特色都跟着它背后的文化有关。英语学习达到相当程度时，往往会觉得英文能力好像总是停留在某个阶段，造成这种现象的原因不只一端，其中之一可能就是由于没有进一步研究英语背后的文化所致。如果这种观察尚属正确，那么，为了突破自己的英文“瓶颈”，恐怕就得设法多多认识英美诸国的政治经济制度、社会风俗、文学艺术、哲学宗教、甚至于科技发展各方面的问题。第六，购买足够的英文工具书。字典之类的参考书，乃是语言学习者不可或缺的工具。有意“学好”英文者必须至少拥有一本又重又厚的大型英英字典，如韦氏的或兰登的大字典即是；至于良好的英汉、汉英、俚俗语、片语、同义反义字、外来语、简缩字词等类字典最好也都购备一种。有人学了好几年英文，用来用去还是一本小小的英汉字典而已，始终还不晓得勤查大型英英字典及其他各类工具书的好处，毋宁是很可惜的。毕竟，工具书不齐全，便无从下深厚的工夫，要想“学好”英文，除了需要良师指导外，还必须靠自己自修。

第七，必须持续地学习再学习。凡是皆须持之有恒始有所成，学习语言更是如此。这种老得不能再老的道理，用不着我在这里多费唇舌。遗憾的是偏偏有不少人，在英文学习的漫长道路上，半途而废了。过了几年后，有的甚至完全抛弃英文，而把英文视为畏途了。英文之为一种强势国际语言，看来在我们有生之年是不会有什么改变的，所以，跟它结下不解缘，无论从哪一个角度来看，都是很有实用价值的。盼望还没有“学好”的人要痛下决心继续学下去，已经“学好”的人也要精益求精，切勿中辍。毕竟，学问是永无止境的。谨以挚诚与大家互相勉励。
做真题。一定要是真题，反复做。
四级的题库其实就是那么点，每年都是在反复做那些题。所以只要你吃透了四级真题，那么你的四级肯定没问题的。

这个方法提高听力，非常有效。

市面上的那些模拟题，大部分说穿了都是那登大雅之堂的。你睬都不要去睬。

首先,四级考试有笔试和听力,笔试包括阅读(分为快速阅读10个题和仔细阅读15个题,2个长文章选择性问题和1个短文章回答问题),写作(120字的),翻译(5句)和完型填空(20个空).听力也有写的部分哦,就是听到单词和句子填空.
具体,你可以去买一套历年的真题卷子,市面上很多的,很容易买到,认认真真地做上10套,从中发现一些奥秘吧,单词我没有从词汇手册里背,因为我上大学后没有英语课,大二下学期那年才上的,所以英语已经很陌生了,单词更不用说了,但是我做了真题发现有很多单词,年年考,而我遇到3次都不认识,所以就把那些单词一个一个记下来,认真背,很快就提高了单词量.
四级是没有教材的,都是自己学习的积累,考试中听力和阅读比重最大,建议你平时多练这2项,阅读都很长,但是作题也很讲究技巧,你大可以自己去发现的.
听力就是一个长期工夫,要天天"磨"耳朵,没事就听英语,哪怕听歌看电影最好也是英文的.呵呵
如果你是还没有上大学的学生,一般大学不会允许新生参加考试的,估计得大2之后吧,但是我可以说高中毕业的学生,稍微扩展下词汇,很轻松就可以过4级,所以希望你坚持不懈,如果这次12月不能参加,来年考试,你的英语千万不要扔下哦,上了大学你就会知道英语课不是以前的那样了,基本学不到什么,要靠自己哦,加油!

以下将谈谈如何准备四六级考试。
一、时间保证。笔者在2001年9月对107名刚刚参加完四六级考试的学生做过调查问卷。在被问到考前平均每天花多少时间准备考试时，高分组的学生选择“三个小时以上”的明显地比低分组的学生要多。这说明在最后的准备过程中，时间的投入多少直接影响着考试的成绩。所以建议大家每天至少花3个小时以上用来学习英语。如果底子稍微差一些的话，每天的时间还要提高，可以是4、5个甚至6个小时以上。争取一鼓作气拿下四六级考试。

二、突出重点。每个人都有他的强项和弱项。在剩下的一个多月时间内要针对自己的弱点加强训练，力争有一个大的突破。在词汇方面大家可以采用“黑白记忆法”。即拿一本四六级大纲词表(最好采用大学英语四六级考试委员会编撰的权威词表)，逐词梳理一遍。已完全掌握的词归入“白色区域”，如果看到这个词脑中一片“空黑”，那么把它归入“黑色区域”。在黑白之间还有层次不同的“灰色区域”。这样在攻克词汇时先把“白色词”挑出来放在一边。然后对付离“白色区域”较近的“灰色词”，其次是离“黑色区域”较近的“灰色词”，最后是“黑色词”。另外在单词记忆时还要特别注意及时复习，即每天记完单词后千万不要就把它们扔在一边，而是要在一个小时以后，当天晚上睡觉前，第二天早晨起床后和一个星期以后复习一遍。如果真正做到了这几个步骤，记忆效果基本上可以保持终生不忘。还有大家一定要熟悉历年的全真题的词汇问题。经过分析，我们发现从1996年到今年1月的考试题目重复率非常高。四级语法题甚至有不少是完全相同的题目隔几年再拿出来考一下。六级的词汇选项几乎有一半是以前考试中出现过的。这一点也不难理解：因为出卷老师其实受到很大局限，太难的不能出，太简单的也不能出，或者有些词根本就不适宜考察。于是只能对那些实践证明好考的词汇情有独钟，翻过来倒过去地加以考察。大家了解了这一点，词汇复习范围可以大大缩小，准确率也可以大大提高。关于阅读，大家一定要特别注意四六级考试全真题的阅读文章和问题。熟悉了这些文章和问题，你就对阅读理解的套路有了更深一步的认识。我们常常有这样的感觉，就是四个选项中有两个总是很容易排除，但就是剩下两个容易混淆，很难辨别哪个对哪个错。在这种情况下，对英语的语感就很重要了。而要培养语感，我们需要对文章和题目的套路有较好的了解。所以可以找出近五年的全真题把阅读文章每篇至少读六遍，如果可能，背下更好。另外可以读一些英语国家原版报刊杂志上的文章，培养对地道英语的语感。关于作文，应该说是短期内最容易提高的项目。大家对各种题材和体裁的文章都要有所准备。作文出题的老师也尝试着求新求变，所以我们对于以前没有考过或很少考的文章类型要特别加以练习。如图表作文，有特殊的要求和结构，也有独特的常用法和句子。如果大家在老师的辅导下相信会有事半功倍的效果。另外应用文虽然已经连续考了两次书信，但是报告演说等并没有考过，所以还是需要加以了解。记叙文平时很少涉及，也不能掉以轻心。总之，如果我们对各种体裁都有所准备，并且针对一些易考的题目做一些练习，考试时就能做到“知己知彼，百战不殆”了。

三、克服心理的障碍。根据研究，焦虑水平和考试表现之间的关系是一个钟形。即焦虑水平太低，根本不把考试当一回事，则表现较差；但如果太焦虑，一天到晚都是想着考试，成绩也不会很好。最好是保持中等的焦虑水平，即每天学习英语时全神贯注，但学完了则把它放在一边，并且相信自己只要尽了力，考试一定能取得满意的成绩就行了。于

2.我很重视真题,在考四级时我在10月1号去了以后就每星期做一套真题,一星期之内把一套真题中所有的单词认识,虽然背不出来,但我看到就知道是什么意思了.然后在考前的两个星期内我又把真题上的错误的题目作成错题集,看了又看.最后在考前又把真题做了一遍.

答题技巧 （仅供参考）
1、听力，有三种题型，dialogue(十个对话)，passage(三个短文)，compound dictation(复合式听写，也就是传说中的段子题)，第一种每年必考，后两种逐年交替，其中考passage的次数相对较多。

最容易得分的是dialogue和passage，只要记住一个超级技巧即可：对话所述事情总是向不好的方面发展。举几个例子：比如对话里问教授的讲座lecture难不难，记住一定难，老师的作业assignment多不多，一定多，男士发出的邀请，女士会答应吗，永远不会，永远是一个傻哥们发出邀请，邀请的对象是Mary，问我们游泳好吗，滑冰好吗，跳舞好吗，吃饭好吗，Mary的回答永远是，我非常的想去，but不去，四级考了十几年了，Mary从来没有去过，今年照样不会。所以大家记住，只要是对话，必然会发生意外的事情，再举个例子，两个选项，A火车准时，B火车晚点如果你是出题老师，你怎么设置对话，当然是晚点了，准时有什么好说的，总不能两个神经病，或者是两人刚谈恋爱，来到车站，没话找话，男的说，哇，火车准时了，女的说，咿！还真准时了耶！所以准时是不可能的，不好的事情一般都是最后的答案！对于compound dictation，上学期偶运气好没有考这个，但是偶觉得这种题确实比较难，只能竖直耳朵专心听了，即使听不懂，也要根据上下文瞎猜一个，空着肯定没分，瞎猜说不定老师看错了还会给你一分！

我想补充的是，千万不要听历年真题，不管是磁带还是MP3，这些只会让你觉得更烦，偶当时就只是在偶mp3里面存了一些BACK STREET BOY的as long as you love me，I PROMISE YOU 等和Mariah carey的Always Be My Baby等等，当偶困了的时候就在自习室里假寐一会儿，听歌养神！

2、阅读，这是我们应考的重点，阅读题得分的高低直接影响到你是否能过，在这里我针对每种题型谈一谈，一事实细节题，据偶的观察，每年必考地方是列举处，即有first，sceond，in addition……的地方，还有举例与打比方的地方，即有as，such ，for instance等出现的地方，有几个应考规律，大家记住，1)选项中照抄或似乎照抄原文的一般不是答案，而同义词替换的是正确答案，

2)选项中表达意义较具体，也就是句子较长的一般不是答案而概括性的，抽象的是答案，

3)选项中有绝对语气词的比如must，never，merely等不是答案而有不十分肯定语气词的是正确答案，比如could，might，possible等。

二词义及语义判断题，常考有指代上下问语义功能的名词和一词多义的词组，另外复杂句由于其句子之间的关系复杂，也常成为考查理解能力的一种手段，大家只要记住一个规律即可，那就是选项含义与被考单词在含义上肤浅相近的一般不是答案

三推理判断题，有如下几个技巧，

1)若要求对某段内容进行推论，那么就只看题干要求作答的那一段，

2)选项中采用试探性，不十分绝对语气词的比如tend to ，offten等一般是答案，

3)符合常识逻辑的一般是答案，比方说为什么中国比较穷，是因为人口众多，为什么美国人很胖，是因为他们吃的肯德基，麦当劳太多了)。

四主旨大意题和观点态度题，这两种相对都比较难，大家的得分都不是很高，所以即使你做的不好也别太介意。这两道题，偶当时是在十分紧迫的情况下，只读了首尾段，然后迅速选择的，其实最后效果还不错，阅读考了二百多分！

3、词汇，对于这种题，当你看到偶的博客以后，回去赶紧扔掉那些什么词汇串联记忆，星火记忆，黑白记忆，什么家谱式记忆，连环记忆……之类的书吧，或者送人，或者保存好，来年卖给不懂事的大一新生们，要不就拿去垫桌角，方方正正的多好啊！偶认为背单词是一种投入和产出极不成比例的做法，极其愚昧和迷信！偶当年是这样做的，考前两天(一定不要太早，否则还会忘掉)，浏览了一下课本后面的四级词组，考试时，只要选项里有出现课本上的单词或词组，那么不要犹豫，选定她！偶还想提醒大家，千万不要在30个词汇题上浪费太多的时间，要知道每个题才0。5分啊，而阅读呢，一个2分，把时间节省出来做阅读吧！偶当时用偶的方法再加上1/4蒙题的概率，最后综合项(包括完形填空)考了一百多分。

4、完形填空题和简短回答题，这两个题也是逐年交替，其中前者出现的机会远远大于后者，如果你遇到的是完形填空题，你应该庆幸，整个四级考试中，数她最简单了，偶当时压根儿就没有看题目一眼，直到考试结束铃响了，偶才开始拿着机读卡瞎蒙，偶当时坐在最后一排，当收卷子的女老师走到偶跟前时，偶还有五道题没有涂卡，偶深情地对她说，天气很热，您也很累了吧，她笑着对偶说，谢谢，还行。在这一瞬间，偶把所有的题都涂完了。大家参加过高考的人都知道，做一个完形填空题花的时间可能超过两道阅读题，但是得分呢？相信大家都心中有数。幸亏四级考试中此题每个才0。5分，即使真正的高手在这个题上也不会超过你五分的，但是花的时间却是你的30倍左右(偶当时做这个题前后大概只用了18秒)。偶一直认为，对于完形填空，命题者的真正意图不是考查你的知识水平，而是考查你是否会合理安排时间！

如果你不幸遇到了简短回答题，说实话，偶也没有好办法，这种题虽说千年难遇一次，但是偶认为这是四级考试中最有水平，最不好应对的题，出题人一定来自天外星球！遇到这种题，如果你有兴趣，那就试一下，如果实在不会做，那么你就认倒霉吧！在大学里有一句话说的好：一生中，谁没有几次踩到大便的时候！

5、写作，偶认为这是最容易应对而且也是最容得分的题！

只需考前花9秒种，即有可能取得9分(满分100分制)以上的好成绩。偶当时只是在开考前熟记了两个比较有难度的经典句型，考试时想办法在在首句和结尾处各用了一个，然后剩余部分，或者自由发挥，或者写几段偶喜欢的英文歌词(注意不是汉语拼音的)，或者写一下李阳疯狂英语里的搞笑句子。

你不要怀疑偶的做法，现在偶给大家分析一下此法可行的原因：判卷时，每个老师桌子上都会有一大叠卷子，远远超过你高考时的复习资料，你想，只要是个人，谁会有耐心仔细看那么多的英语文章，再加上一般判卷发生在大夏天，天气闷热，心情烦躁，每天关在小屋里看偶们这些无聊低级的文章，不许上网，不许QQ，不让开MSN，更不可能写博客，好人也会被折磨疯的。所以他们判卷时，一般只看开头和收尾句，再大体看一下字数够不够，有的正在谈恋爱的老师，心情比较好，还会看有没有错误的单词，为了防止这种情况，我提醒大家，我们的目标不是写一篇惊世骇俗的文章，而是尽量在三十分种内不说一句错话，不写一个错单词。一句话，我们的目标就是--没有蛀牙！！再有，写短文时，最好用黑色钢笔，而不要用其他颜色的，特别是圆珠笔，另外，千万要注意书面整齐，据说，判卷老师大都是近世眼，对于黑色他们更为敏感，更习惯。书写也是，越整洁，他看得越清晰，心情就越好，偶们的分也就越高！偶当时做完此题，共用了八分钟，但是偶的写作成绩却是八十分(满分710分制)！
