不一定会，刚开始英语听力时，最好是边看书边听，对着听力材料来听，这样你才会懂得那些单词和句子的发音，才有可能逐渐熟悉他们，然后再试着单单听听力，那样就会好很多，毕竟中间需要一个熟悉的过程。

我在上海的新东方上过课,有经验的听力老师给过我们这样的建议:买一些VOA或者是BBC(都是美音)的听力材料,从早听到晚,并不是要你一直集中注意力听他在讲什么,不管你在干什么,吃饭看书洗漱等等都把播放器开着,晚上睡觉也是这样,这个时候可以把音量调低一点.另外,不要经常换听的内容,一套材料可以反复听上几个星期甚至是几个月.这样做的目的,是让自己时刻处在一个有着地道英语口语的语言环境中,渐渐地你就会发现原本完全跟不上的语速或者是听不太懂的内容自己都能慢慢掌握了.当然,这种进步是一天天缓慢而来的,并不是你听了几天,能力就会一下子飞升到某个境界,重要的还是细水长流的坚持.
我自己现在练习听力的方法也是这个,已经坚持了一个学期.这一个学期我用复读机只反复听一盒磁带,一开始觉得语速快得难以接受,和平时学校考试时英语听力的语速完全是两个档次,因为全是政治新闻(我听的是BBC),内容也是很难听懂,但我没有刻意去改善这些,能听懂多少就是多少,听不懂的就根据前后文揣测它的意思,差不多就行了.我在后面几次英语考试中体会到了这个方法带来的巨大的效果,本来听力是我扣分最多的一部分,经常就是因为听力错失太多分数而导致名次挤不进前三,现在每次考试,我的听力最多扣去二分,有时是因为最后一题填空时的单词拼写错误...名次终于一跃而上,只要后面做得细心,第一是没有问题的.
另外一个值得提一下的方面,就是集中注意力的问题,我是那种在考场上很难集中注意力的人,只要有一点点的动静,我就完全听不进喇叭里播放的内容,但是训练了一个学期之后,我发现集中注意力也开始变得容易.
