Living in countryside is better than living in the city?
I would highly suggest living in the country side. Yes there are the convenient reasons for living in the city, but in the country side there are health benefits, which a lot of people don't always account for. Recent studies prove that heart issues and complications are directly related to living in a congested city with the stress and pollution. In the country side there are no health risks that can greatly affect and harm your heart. In the city, it's dangerous, crowded, stressful, polluted, crime rates are higher, there's food everywhere you turn and car traffic. In the country side you can find peace, quiet, soothing environments, less pollution, smaller communities that build better relationships with one another. In Japan, the country is built on small communities and people in Japan live longer then any other group of people in the world, and many scientist link the Japanese people living so long to the tight knit communities, which is what on can find in the country side. These are the reasons I would live in the country or the mountains and not in a big city like New York or London.
Living in the countryside, problems such as the traffic jam, housing problem and instrial pollution which may puzzle the citizens can't be exist. People lead a simple life in pure nature. There is much less noise and pollution than the city. The idyllic pastoral scene which make up with the first cockcrow, the twittering of birds at dawn, the sight of the rising sun glinting on the trees and pastures is only part of the picture. Obviously, the environment is good for human’s health. But rural life may not be that perfect. People usually lack cultural activities. Things go fairly slowly there. What's more, they also miss some golden opportunities of making a fortune.
I like the countryside because the air in the countryside is clean and fresh. The river is clean, too.I can go fishing every day.I can also feed chickens. They are very interesting.I don't have to get up very early.I like living in the countryside very much!
这个我以前写过的 乡村生活的缺点主要是购物,就医步相对不方便 信息相对闭塞（但是现在网络可以逐步解决）
Protect Our Environment
Our world was colorful, beautiful and full of life. But these years, people have built many factories along rivers. Many trees have been cut down. Many animals have lost their homes. Factories cause pollution. Rivers become polluted.
As a student, you should do every things in your everyday life to protect them.
Second, throw waste things into different stbins. For example, waste paper should be throw into paper recyclable bins.
Third, stop cutting down trees. Instead, plant more.
Fourth, pick up garbage in the park or on the road when we are free.
Last, call on more and more people to pay attention to contrlling pollution.
In a word, everybody has his ty to protect the world.
A Visit to Countryside
Last week, I visited to the countryside with my parents. This winter is much colder than before and we know that in some poor areas, people don’t even have
winter clothes to keep warm. So my parents decided to do something to help them. They took me there because they wanted me to know their poor situation. When
we got there, I was surprised. People wore little and they didn’t have enough food. We brought food, clothes and some medicines there. We hoped it would be
helpful to them. I hope there are more people helping them.
Living in the country, people can enjoy living in pure nature. They lead a simple and trouble free life. But rural life may not be that perfect. People usually lack cultural activities. They are relatively ill informed (消息闭塞). Things go fairly slowly there. And people miss some golden opportunities of making a fortune. The chances of their children being admitted to colleges are slim(不多版权).
My hometown lies on the Plain of North China. The famous Grand Canal of China is to the east of our village. This is the place where my forefathers have lived for generations. When I was a boy I often played with other children near the bank of the canal.I watched the passing boats, and I wished to travel all over the world.
There are about 800 people in our village.A pond, teeming with fish, lies in front of the village.I used to swim there in summer and skate in winter. It was in this pond that I spent the happiest days of my childhood.
To the north of our village are great fields. When spring comes, the crops begin to grow, turning the fields green. When crops turn yellow in autumn, the peasants start to harvest them.
Between the canal and our village is an orchard. There were only a few kinds of fruit trees years ago, but now the peasants grow many sorts, including peach, plum, apple and orange.
The majority of the villagers have become much better off.About a quarter of the households have bought television sets and tape recorders.A reading-room and a library have been built.Every evening many young people go to the evening school to learn science and read newspapers.
Two roads cross in front of our village. On summer evenings, people sit under the trees enjoying the cool breeze. The houses in our village are well laid out.
By the end of last year, 35 students in our village had graated from senior middle school, and 12 students were enrolled at colleges.
This is my hometown.I hope you will make a visit here one day.

I like to live in the countryside. I live in a smallvillage. There is a river near it. Lots of trees are around my house. I can seea lot of farms and birds. There is less noise. The air here is cleaner andfresher. There are fewer cars. I read aloud early in the morning. When it isgetting dark, the moon is bright in the sky. It’s very quiet . What a nice placeI live in !
