My favourite city is Guangzhou.Guangzhou is the biggest city in south China. Guangzhou is the provincial capital of guangdong,all the month we can see beautiful flower and green grass in Guangzhou.There about 7200000 population in Guangzhou .Dim-sum is the most famous thing in guangzhou.It was very delicious.Mum and I go to the famous Guang zhou restaurant and have dimsum every saturday.I like guangzhou very much ,do you think so ?

Well, as I am planning to study in Britain, so let me talk about some thoughts about British culture.

When I was a kid, I just know there is such a beautiful country existed, but I didn’t know much detail about it. The first time I began interested in this country is because my cousin who was study in London. Every year she came back, she would tell my tons of stuff about Britain, like Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, so on. I was been absorbed by these culture which is totally different from Chinese culture.

And when I grow up, I know more about this country. It is the birthplace of so many great minds, you know, like Shakespeare, Jane Austin, Alexander Dumas and so on. What else, I guess is because the bands I like. Such as Oasis, Coldplay, blue, Pink Floyd, and Beatles of course. I really like these bands, the strong dynamic and rhythmic.

Another thing important to mention here is there are so many would top university, like Cambridge, Oxford, LES, Warwick and so on. That’s exactly why I’m planning on studying in UK.

In terms of personality, British people always have been considerate reserve and not opening. But I guess also depend on difference people. I don’t know much about British food, but I heard fish and chips was pretty popular there.

Ok, I guess the further information may wait the time I really arrive UK.

My favorite Chinese city

There are many great Chinese cities, but for me the greatest city has to be Xi'an,the city I came from.Xi'an is perhaps the greatest, and certainly one of the greatest ancient capitals of China. Thirteen dynasties made Xi'an their capital, including the three greatest dynasties in Chinese history: Zhou, Han and Tang. The city has a history of more than 3000 years, it was first constructed in the 12th century BC. Xi'an is also considered as one of the four greatest ancient capitals in the entire world. The ancient city of Chang An was to East Asia what Rome was to Europe. It is one of the only two ancient Chinese cities that was known in the classical western world. The ancient Greek name for Xi'an, or Chang An as it was then called, is Thyne Metropolis.

For thousands of years Xi'an was at the eastern terminus of the great Silk Road, attracting visitors from India, Persia, Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome and beyond. During the Han Dynasty Chang An was one of the largest cities in the world, and ring the Tang Dynasty, it became the world's largest and most prosperous city. Behind the huge city walls stretched a central avenue leading to the imperial palace that was laid with marble and one hundred and fifty metres wide. Although after the Tang Dynasty the city lost its former grandeur and prestige, it was still considered as one of the most important cities in China in subsequent dynasties up to the present day.
