The given bar graph shows data on the four different waste disposal methods used in Toronto, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur and Amman. As is presented in the data, Landfill and Incineration are two most common way of waste disposal in these four cities.
According to the bar graph, Toronto disposes more than 70% of its waste by Landfilling while Amman usages this method to dispose almost half of its waste. In Madrid and Kuala Lumpur this method is used to dispose consecutively 29% and 18% of their wastages. Incineration is another popular method of waste disposal and Kuala Lumpur uses this method to dispose more than half of its wastages. This method is used to dispose 38% and 40% of waste respective in Amman and Madrid. Again, Recycling of wastages is used to dispose about 23% garbage in Kuala Lumpur and Madrid. This method is used only to dispose less than 10% of total wastages in Toronto and Amman. The least used method of waste disposal is Compositing and this method is used to dispose about 2-8% of total wastages in these four cities.

雅思作文要想获得高分其逻辑结构很重要，下面以议论文为例进行一下解释。雅思议论文的准备首先是逻辑结构。也就是说你必须知道议论文分三部分，每部分有哪些思路(每条思路有哪些句型)，这才是你要重点背诵的。议论文的中间段落是拿高分的重点。一般来讲有两种结构模式：立论和驳论。立论的结构是这样的：(分论点)……In other words(解释论证)……For example(举例论证)……Conversely(强对比论证)……这是三种最基本的论证方法。可以用一种，也可以用两种或三种。我们要求学生把论证方法标志性的词汇准备得背诵下来，以方便考官在阅读的时候抓住你的思路。另外一种是驳论：Some people think that (敌人的观点)……， because they think(敌人简单的论据)……However， they are oversimplifying the situation. In fact， (敌人的第一条错误)…….In addtion，(敌人的第二条错误).Last but not least， (敌人的第三条错误)…….反驳的时候说一句话，两句话还是三句话可以酌情处理。当然掌握了这两种结构以后，还会有更复杂的变化，不过它们是基础。接下来要细化的就是驳论和论证方法的思路和句型。对于语言结构我们要求掌握五种基本句型，十四种扩展方式;在这个基础上有一些议论文惯用的语言，可以让你多写一些单词。最后还要对雅思考试常考的八个话题要比较熟悉，找寻观点，理解了，背下来，考试就更有把握了。

重视写作资料的积累

平时的练习的时候建议同学要多思考雅思最常考的话题。如果有比较长的时间复习，大家可以一边按照题材总结收集素材，一边从写句子的基本功入手。每个话题的每道题目，先总结好中文的分论点和分论点的论证。注意，中文一定要简单，清晰，不要有太多修饰；然后自己每天把其中的几段写成英文，最好写NATIVE SPEAKER帮忙改一下。如此做100个段落以上的积累，英语写作水平就会有质的提高。

重视中英文作文写作思路的差异

有很多同学会在有这样的疑问，中文作文写的很好，但是英文作文却总是难以取得高分，归结起来原因还是在于写作思路上存在着很大的差异和区别。英文喜欢的是直线思维。不需要太麻烦。所以在结构上可以按照驳论和立论的模式展开，当然还有一种驳一半。因为一种观点总有合理和不合理的两面。所以在复杂一点的结构中，可以把这两个方面都写出来。而中文的写作思路恰恰与英文相反，讲求更加含蓄的表达，也并非是直线思维，因此也就出现了中文作文优秀但英文作文却不理想的情况。因此同学们在备考的过程中要注重这种差异，在复习的过程中有意识的训练自己的英文写作思路。

重视写作提速

写作的速度涉及到三方面的问题，需要同学们给予足够的重视。一是构思的速度。你需要对雅思最常考的题材比较熟悉。第二，是对句型的熟悉。什么意思用什么句型只有通过多写多练才会有积累才会提高写作速度。第三是写单词的速度，尤其是长单词。要求在平时练习的时候一定要写，而不是想，即使这个单词你会背也一定要写下来。

巧用写作模版

关于模板，我曾问过不止一位考官。他们的回答是，模板不是不能用，但是一定要恰当。他们最讨厌的模板是there are two sides of every coin...所以没有万能模板，你只有把议论文的每部分可能的情况和句型背清楚，然后才能选择使用。换言之，模板是有的，但是没有一个万能模板。写作是一个长期积累的过程。前不久一个山东的同学告诉我她压中了雅思的写作考题，事先也经过了精心地准备，结果得了3.5分。她的问题是她准备的范文有一半以上的单词在任何一篇文章都是一样的。大家一定要特别小心不要评价类的准备一篇范文，优缺点的准备一篇，原因建议的准备一篇（而且我本人并不同义这种分类方式）。关联词汇如果文章的长度足够，尽量简单清晰。所以归根结底还是要对论述的话题熟悉，你自然就不会写那么多废话了。在网络世纪雅思贴吧有很多的范文 你可以去了解一下！

Some people think we should keep all the money we earn and not pay tax to the state. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people may feel it is their rights to retain their money without paying taxes. However, I believe paying a certain portion of their income to the governments is eventually beneficial to all.
Rather than a deprivation of people’s rights to their earnings, taxation is a way to ensure that such rights do exist. At first glance, it seems unreasonable that people should be compelled to give up part of their money, because people earn their money through their own work and they should have the rights to the fruit of their work. However, such rights can hardly exist if they are not protected by the governments. For example, when crimes are rampant and the country is conquered and enslaved by a foreign foe, people’s lives will be endangered, not to mention their rights to their earnings. To protect such rights, the country needs efficient legal institutions and strong armed forces, which involve a cost. This cost need to be shared by people in the form of taxation.
In addition, taxation can also help to amplify people’s enjoyment of their earnings. It is true that paying taxes leads to people’s income being reced. However, even without paying the taxes, ordinary indivials would not be so rich as to afford a private park or a large library. Through government spending, which is made possible by taxes from a huge number of people, they can access and enjoy some large-scale facilities, such as hospitals, parks, libraries and highways. In this way, people can enjoy more than what they can indivially afford.
Understandably, there may be concerns that some people are too poor to pay taxes, or that governments may not use the taxes effectively for common good causes. But these questions are related to how taxes should be collected and how they should be managed. For the sake of protecting people’s rights to their earnings and making the best use of the earnings, I therefore argue that people should contribute part of their income to the state revenue.
