華東復師范大學出版社的制《有聲名著階梯閱讀》封面是白底上面有關於故事內容的圖片，封底底色是亮黃色的上半部分是書冊的目錄下半部分是本書的中文簡介。從側面看底色也是亮黃色，最上方是紅底白字寫著「有聲名著」然後是黑底白字標有阿拉伯數字表示level然後是一個帶圈的數字表示這個level中的第幾分冊
這個系列的書講的故事大多是耳熟能詳的世界名著或者一些傳說，所以看起來難度不會很大，裡面有配套的光碟，還有故事每到一個階段會有配套的用於擴展詞彙量的習題，個人感覺對於初中生是非常有幫助的。
