《典範英語》（Good English）是從英國牛津大學出版社原版引進的英語母語學習材料，是在ORT系列基礎上稍作刪減，重新編排，冠以《典範英語》品牌名出版的。
 
《典範英語》系列教材包括：
 
典範英語（1-6）：針對小學生，大致對應牛津閱讀樹的1-9級；一級72本，二級60本，三級60本，四級48本，五級39本，六級30本，一共309本。這6個級別中都是故事類的（雖然有拼讀學習，但是沒有專項拼讀類），涵蓋面比較廣，科普的，社會的等。 
 
典範英語（7-10）：針對中學生，大致對應Treetops部分，即10-16級 
 
少兒英語拼讀教程（1-3）：含66個故事。是把牛津閱讀樹OxfordReading Tree的Floppy's Phonics Fiction這個系列的6個stage整理成3本書。 
 
趣味文化網路閱讀：文化網路讀物，共42冊。內容涵蓋天文地理、歷史科學、花鳥走獸、戶外運動、家庭生活等，適合我國中小學生閱讀。

Ecation plays a very important role in the development of China. As is known to all, China has the largest population in the world and most of them live in the countryside. Since the economic conditions there are rather poor, many families,especially in the remote areas, cannot afford to send their children to school, many children have to drop from school. The "Project Hope" is aimed at solving this problem so that every child of school age can receive regular ecation.
The "Project Hope" mainly depends on the contributions of the urban people and overseas Chinese who care about the development of China's ecation. The contributed money will be distributed by "Project Hope" council to the countryside to help the children who cannot afford the ecation. One hundred yuan will help such a child finish his primary ecation.
"Project Hope" is a good way to promote the ecation in the rural areas, but it is far from being sufficient. By now,only a small portion of the children benefit from it. Nowadays there is big argument between money and happiness. Some people believe that they are differ from each other and should not be connected to each other. However, others think quite different. They consider money and happiness belong to a whole part. Actually I firmly agree with the last opinion. For living in such a environment, people can not live without money. Without money we can not by the food and water for we to live on. Without money we would not have the chance to study. In a word, Without money, we can not content both our physical and mental needs. So they should be considered together. Only by doing this can we live a happy life.
Volunteers
At present, the word volunteers can be seen and heard every where. Actually ,it is really a good word, by which it can arouse people』s responsibility. Volunteers both good for the people who are served, but also for the volunteer themselves it is useful as well. For instance, people who are blind and deaf can get good care from volunteers and feel the warmth of the world, which brings them happiness. For volunteers, they can give their love to people who get in trouble which can make them feel success. Of course showing love to others is also a way to be happy as well So let』s get involved to be a good volunteer and give our love to help people in trouble.
Study at home or go abroad
Since people』s mind have changed a lot, their mind has wider than before. So many people decide to study in foreign countries. Then comes out the big discussion. Some people think we should study in our own country. Because we are so familiar with the culture we have lived in. Meanwhile we do not need to worry about the different environment outside and can get helps when we need from friends and relatives. However, others consider it quite differently. They believe study abroad can widen our minds and good for learning foreign languages. Any no matter what way we choose, the one which is more suitable for each different person is the better choice
5.Live On or Off
Along with people』s mind become more open than before, especially students, many students choose to live off campus. However others still live inside campus. As a result, the whole society pays attention on this object. Some still believe that students should live inside. Because it is safer and students can have good affect among each other on study. Meanwhile, they can have communication with each other. However, others firmly believe students should live off. Because by doing this they can learn more knowledge about life that can not be learnt at school. So whether live on or off that depends on the characters of each student. It is hard to give a absolute answer
6.According to my studying,I think the best way to learn English is SPEAKING and LISTENING.Try you best to speak English with others.And there is a good way for you is that make a penfriend with native English speaker.The more you speak,the more you understand and use.Even the word which you don't know, the more you use it and see it,you'll know.
Try to write anything that you want and see,and then ask you teacher or friend who English very much to correct it.But ask them just point out where you are wrong,you try to think about why you are wrong and how to correct it.
When you see a new word, you'd better make some different sentences to know it.Ask others to help you correct it.
Read the English newspaper and listen to the English report on TV and radio.The newspaper always use different words to describe the same thing.So read the newspaper is a good way to expand your words building.
Listen to the radio again and again until you understand.
