就我個人意見來說《英語角》還是不錯的，內容有點像劇本，主要是通過人物之間的對話這種方式去提高口語（表達）能力的——每一篇東東都有列舉相關的句型句式並進行剖析，而且針對不同的對話背景有相關的背景介紹（文化）。中英對譯。難度不大，適合初中生閱讀（閱讀年齡：14～20歲）

《英語畫刊》（初一～初三）
針對不同水平的學生而量身定做。主要欄目有名著之窗、國際新聞、風雲人物、時文閱讀、五洲四海、卡通列車、文娛天地、體育之窗、我們的園地、英語作文、妙語如珠、你問我答、課測練習、學習指導、閱讀理解、科技縱橫、文化博覽、趣味小品、幽默與笑話等眾多欄目，並配有與英語教學同步的練習和中、高考復習資料。
《瘋狂英語中學版》我還是覺得難度稍微大了點，而且可讀性不太強（我買過一本，但覺得沒有興趣去看）

也不妨可以考慮一下報紙：《二十一世紀學生英文報》有初一～高三版，以閱讀材料為主，而且分為8個版面－主版（熱點），時事頻道，青春校園（講述校園故事），知識之窗（2版），輕松閱讀，英語加油站和文娛空間。最重要的是它的內容與課本內容完全無關，不像《英語周報》《英語輔導報》那樣，它旨在提高閱讀能力和詞句積累，而且有閱讀提示"teens點金」——包括中考詞彙、考點看台、拓展詞彙、真題演練等等，我覺得這個挺不錯，強烈推薦，訂了2年了..

不知道你上初幾抄了，其實英語書的課文里就穿插了幾部不錯的，比如說《湯姆索亞歷險記》，《愛麗絲漫遊奇境記》都很適合7，8年級讀，當然，如果你的詞彙量大，覺得太簡單的話還可以看看<金銀島>,〈小婦人〉，〈父與子〉，這些很適合初三畢業後閑暇時候去讀，如果想繼續提高一個英文水平的話也可以試試〈霧都孤兒〉不過這一般到高三或大學才能夠流利閱讀噠。呵呵，至於具體選哪一本，就看你的情況而定咯。不過我覺得讀名著最重要的不是應付差事，細細品味其中的文字才是最好的效果，同時你的英語水平也會在不知不覺中提高許多呢！
