抽絲剝繭，柴靜將目光投向了泛濫的城市化進程，「城市化帶給這個國家不可思議的文明和財富，但假如我們拉動城市發展的方式不改變，15年之後，我們的耗煤量會達到60億噸，我們的用車量會達到4億輛，這意味著中國，霧霾還只是剛剛開始，堵車，只是剛剛開始。」
