看來樓主抄還沒有明白學校老師的襲要求你們讀名著的意義，閱讀的最大的好處就是在於提高閱讀速度，增強英語語感。很多的時候，當樓主有語感了，做閱讀理解的題時會很有幫助的，最牛的時候看一遍基本上就全部做出來了，要知道，閱讀理解在英語考試時，分數所佔總個試卷的比重至少在70%左右的。所以，如果把閱讀理解的題做會了，那麼英語一定是可以得高分的。但這個一定要堅持才行。深圳華億天誠前前後後學了近10年的英語，總是斷斷續續的，所以，語感就是很差，這個就像體育鍛煉一樣，一段時間不跑步了，再去跑時就感覺跑不動了。所以，建議樓主盡量天天堅持看一些英文片段也行，養成快速閱讀的習慣。那麼，考試時真的不用擔心了。

The Farmer, His Horse, and His son
Once there was an old farmer, with a horse which was almost as old as himself.
He set out one morning with his son to sell the horse before it died. Father
and son walked, because the farmer did not want the horse to be too tired.
They met two men on the road who said, "Why are you walking, farmer? You have
a horse, It's a long way to market(市場). "The farmer know that this was true,

建議你多做些科普類或者經濟類的，生詞一般都在那裡面，社科類一般都懂得。

⑻ 閱讀英文名著的問題~~

不用一個詞一個詞的查字典翻譯，理解大意就行。不過你們剛開始看名著專會有一定的困難，還是先看屬與中文對照的比較好。我是英語專業大三的學生，我也在看名著，剛開始看的都是一些比較簡單的，後來慢慢的看英文版的。一天讀一到兩個小時的計劃很不錯，希望你會堅持下去！加油！

⑼ 怎樣閱讀英文名著

這樣讀的話會很難。
英文的名著所用的語法會很多，但所有的對話都很精煉。
那麼你可以通過內對話容來學習一些簡單的日常用法，通過對於一些細微的描述方面增進自己對於英語語法的理解。
最好的學習方法是，旁邊放一個筆記本，將不懂的記下來，然後通過字典去查找其意思，通過對於語法的判斷和上下文的意思，讀懂這幾句。
開始的時候會非常的慢，但速度會越來越快，而且加上你的詞彙量越來越多，看過20%的篇幅之後，基本你就不會再過多藉助字典了，即使偶爾會有生詞，通過上下文的意思，多半也能猜出來。
看完英文馬上去看翻譯的結果會是你越來越依賴依靠中文的解釋去回過頭判斷某個單詞的用法。而且，中文的翻譯，不是直譯過來的，而是意譯，有時候放到某一個具體的詞語的時候，並不是很准確的。

可以去讀一些相對來說比較容易簡單的英文名著。我之前有看過一本叫小王子的，這本書裡面就是全英文，我看的就是很不費勁。
