我是一棵蠟梅樹，生長在-個叫勾踐的主人的園子里，媽媽說我今年就要開花了。聽別人說我的主人是位皇帝，但我怎麼看都不像.哪有皇帝是睡在柴草堆上的，而且每天要嘗苦膽的滋味。睹，你看他又在嘗苦膽了.一天夜裡主人來到我身旁，望瞭望我又看了看星光燦爛的夜空。並大喊一聲'我一定要復國!'我這一聽才確定站在我旁邊的這位原來真的是皇帝。
日子一天天地過去，主人依舊每天睡茅草，嘗苦膽。那膽多苦啊，每天看著我都毛骨'悚然了，更別說嘗了，看著迎春花開了，桃花開了.而我呢?連芽都沒長出來.我沒氣餒，承受著烈日的曝曬，冬天裡北風的呼嘯我都沒有向它們低頭.寒冷的冬天過去了，我的枝頭上一朵小花終於開了.我萬分高興，而且園子里進進出出的人也越來越多,過了幾夭花己開滿了枝頭,這時只見我的主人穿著盔甲帶領大軍出門了.那聲音越來越遠，園子里只留下淡淡的清香。
過了不久.我的主人回來了.只見他滿臉笑容，並且與旁邊的人有說有笑。這時我知道將軍們一定打了勝仗，復國成功了而我呢啕枝頭上的花凋落了.但我依然很開心，因為我經歷了長久的磨難，也綻放了芳香.
到了夜深人靜的時候，我再一次看到主人在嘗苦膽，我真想不明白，不是都已經打了勝仗了嗎，為什麼還這樣委屈自己?到了第二天主人來到我身邊，自言自語地說了好多話。我這一聽才恍然大悟，原來主人每天嘗苦膽是為了.
是的，我知道了成功不容易.不經歷風吹雨打，嘗點苦頭，不經磨煉是很難成功的.只有付出才有回報
