早上10點整我們全家懷著激動地心情目不轉睛的看著中央電視台的現場實況直播，天安門廣場上晴空萬里，陽光明媚。在天安門城樓上站立著國家各級領導人，這時只聽到劉奇宣布祖國六十周年國慶盛典現在開始。場上傳來了排山倒海般的掌聲。緊接著，那面五星國旗在天安門前漸漸升起。
國慶60周年大閱兵，不僅有陸軍、海軍、空軍、第二炮兵部隊，還有武警部隊以及民兵和預備役部隊，並且展示了一些新型武器裝備。
