今年四六級組季會發布的樣題中,關於段落信息匹配題是這樣表述的:You have to identify the paragraph from which the information is derived「你需要去確認信息是來自於哪一個段落的」。換一個表達方式叫做 which paragraph contains the following information(哪一段包含了以下的信息)。接下來我們用樣題來分析一下關鍵詞定位(key words positioning) 和同義替換(paraphrasing)在段落信息匹配題中如何實踐。
1、關鍵詞定位(key words positioning)
Since the mid-1970s, the enrollment of overseas students has increased at an annual rate of 3.9 percent.
像這道題就屬於比較簡單的題目。這道題是來自於四級樣卷的Q47,當這道題出現的時候,同學們應該關注的是劃線的兩個數據,而20世紀70年代中期這個數據其實它的意義絕對沒有3.9%大,因為前方是一個時間段,有可能經常出現,而後方是一個具體數值,具體數值的高頻可能性不大,因為對於很多人來說他們都明白越高頻的單詞或短語的形式越不能成為我們的核心鉤劃點,3.9%一旦出現就讓我們在全文當中展開3.9%的尋找之旅吧!
Over the past three decades the number of students leaving home each year to study abroad has grown at an annual rate of 3.9 percent, from 800,000 in 1975 to 2.5million in 2004.
這時我們會發現順序再讀的時候英語4級樣卷的C段出現了一個3.9%,這樣一個點一旦出現,這一道英語4級簡單的匹配題就結束了。
2、同義替換(paraphrasing)
接下來,我們再來看另外一個匹配的情況,現在是一個稍難的版本,來自於六級樣卷第52道題。

這句話的含義是一個系列的書籍都是由美國作者來完成的,警告說……
A succession of books, mainly by Americans... Sounded the alarm
這是原文的B段開頭,跟它幾乎是一模一樣,但是很明顯六級和四級相比,它的難度就有一點大了。首先,可別看錯,在原文中出現一個單詞叫succession,它意思是一個序列的,或者是一個系列的一撥兒的,千萬不要看成了成功,整句翻譯為一個序列的書主要是由美國人來做。大家仔細看一下mainly換成了mostly,而warned,警告,被換成了sounded the alarm,「拉響警笛」或「拉響警報」。由此我們發現,同義替換對於解題是非常重要的。
從這道題中給大家一個提醒:在平時一定要多做同義替換的積累,比如more and more people我們就認為這不是一個好的表達,我們可以把他升級為an increasing number of people。這個版本就要比more and more people好一些,平時多注意同義詞替換方面的積累,能幫助你的閱讀,也能幫助你的寫作。

深秋的嶽麓山,是人們欣賞麓山紅葉、登高遠眺的好時候。(主賓搭配不當,可將「時候」改為「地方」或將「深秋」與「嶽麓山」對調。)
同學們對學校的教育課程改革交換了廣泛的意見。(修飾語和中心語搭配不當,並不是意見廣泛,而是交換的范圍廣泛,應改為「廣泛的交換了意見」。)
即使一直沒有試驗成功,但他一點兒也不氣餒。(關聯詞搭配不當,將「即使」改為「雖然」。)
2、成分殘缺常見的有缺主語、缺謂語、缺賓語。例如:
經過幾個月的培訓,使我掌握了使用多媒體的技術。(缺主語,應去掉「使」。此類題在中考中出現特多。)
無法准確判斷上網者是否未成年人。(缺謂語,在「是否」後加上「是」。)

3、重復多餘句子結構完整,句意清晰,仍使用了不必要的詞語作句子的成分。多為語意堆砌。
……淪為一個毫無作為一事無成的庸人。(「毫無作為」和「一事無成」 語意重復,應刪去其一。)
4、語序不當語序不當是多種多樣的,要結合語意、語言結構等靈活分析。常見的情況有:詞語的前後順序排列不當,修飾語和中心語位置顛倒,多層修飾語語序不當,定語狀語錯位,關聯詞位置不當。例如:
華南農業大學獸醫學院使用並研製了禽流感滅活油乳劑疫苗,在實驗室檢測中,免疫有效率可達100%。(詞語的前後順序排列不當,應將「使用」和「研製」調換位置。)
北京環保餐具聯合組織在追查以滑石粉、碳醋鈣甚至廢塑料為原料的主要「毒餐盒」。(定語和中心語的位置顛倒,「主要」與「原料的」 調換位置。)
愛因斯坦是傑出的20世紀科學家。(多層修飾語語序不當,「20世紀」與「傑出的」應調換位置。)
為了發揮自己的充分才能,他毅然決定回國,參加中國的太空開發研究。(定語狀語錯位,應把「充分」移至「發揮」前面。)
5、用詞不當 包括詞性、詞義、詞的感情色彩使用不當等等。例如:
她的畫簡潔明快,跳動著青春的氣息,一直都是同學們所喜聞樂見的。(「畫」不能「喜聞」,應將「喜聞樂見」改為「喜愛」。)
美軍在伊拉克的「虐囚事件」,充分展示了美國政府不尊重生命的「假人權」本質。(感情色彩使用不當,「展示」改為「暴露」。)
6、並列不當 交叉或從屬概念並列一起。
全班同學和團員在課堂上都能積極發言。(「同學」和「團員」為交叉概念,可刪其一)
7、句意歧義 句子失去確定性,可以這樣理解,也可以那樣理解的句子。
這次回母校,我又聽到了許多張老師的先進事跡。(「許多」可理解為修飾「張老師」 也可理解為修飾「事跡」。可在「許多」後加「位」或將「許多」與「張老師」對調。)
8、不合事理 指在表述中,或違反邏輯思維,或違背客觀情況,或前後矛盾,或否定不當,或修辭不當等,造成不合事理。例如:
書法家米蒂的故居是襄樊市新修建的漢江「外灘」。(「故居」指從前曾經居住過的房子,與「新修建」矛盾。可在「故居」後加上「所在地」。)
一些家長沒有意識到這是一種病,而採用簡單粗暴的方式阻止孩子不上網。(否定不當,刪去「不上網」中的「不」。)
她那紅潤的臉蛋猶如盛開的梨花。(比喻不當,「紅潤的臉蛋」與白色「梨花」不相似,可將「梨花」改為「桃花」等。)
是否有「以農民為本」的理念,是解決「三農」問題的關鍵。(「是否」包含正反「兩面」的意義,而後半句僅含正的「一面」,不能相對。可刪去「是否」或在「解決」前加上「能否」。此類題出現較多。)
