如何提高七年級學生英語課外閱讀興趣的研究
眾所周知,在學習過程中,「興趣就是最好的老師。」許多學生不願學英語,關鍵是他們對英語沒有興趣。因此,作為中學的英語教師,首先應該先去激發學生的學習興趣。古往今來,凡是教學上有所建樹的教師,無一例外的是:他們的課都讓學生著迷。筆者在多年的教學實踐中,認為可以從以下幾個方面來激發和培養學生的興趣。
一、遷移學生的興趣,激發求知慾。
讓「雙差生」學英語是讓很多老師頭痛的事。學好英語需要持之以恆的毅力,而「雙差生」缺乏的往往就是這種鍥而不舍的精神,如果只是從正面向他們大談學好英語的種種好處,恐怕收效甚微。如能把這些學生在其它方面的興趣,遷移到學英語中來,則可事半功倍。有一次,筆者把班上的幾個常逃學到街上打電子游戲的學生叫到宿舍,打開電腦,讓他們見識「紅色警戒」、「沙丘2000」、「星際爭霸」等游戲。那令人震憾的32位音效,賞心悅目的3D動畫,人性化的互動式操作,讓街上游戲廳中的16位甚至8位的游戲望塵莫及。很快地,他們就融入游戲之中。但每每就在他們指揮著千軍萬馬,即將解放全人類,實現心中夢想時,屏幕上卻出現了數行的英文提示,這些學生全傻眼了,這時我就在旁邊輕描淡寫地給予翻譯。學生頓悟:下世紀,玩,也要懂英語。事後,我發現英語課上,這幾個學生「重新做人」了。可見,巧妙地遷移學生的興趣,正如「四兩撥千斤」。對培養學生學英語的興趣大有裨益。
二、用口訣幫助記憶,提高學英語熱情。
英語語法規則,詞的用法區別,發音規則等,常讓學生迷惑。有鑒於此,教師可編些口訣來幫助學生記憶,降低學習難度,使學英語的熱情升溫。對初一學生講「be」的用法,記口訣:I用am,you用are;Is跟著他,她,它。要問復數用什麼?其後全部都用are 又如,Double O的長短音,編「三字經」如下: 煮毛木,看了書,腳送[u],立後屋。除之外,讀長|u:|。前面7個單詞是:cook,wool,woud,look,good,book,foot;接著是2個動詞過去式:took(take),stood(stand)並帶出另兩個過去式mistook,understood;然後是一些「後屋」,classroom,bedroom,meettingroom等等。教師只要常收納,多積累,勤總結,口訣就會涌涌不斷,教學也定會趣味橫生。
三、讓學生製作教具,激發學習英語興趣。
對初學者,直觀教學尤其顯得重要。由於條件限制,學校缺乏必要的掛圖,筆者就發動學生自己動手畫。對教學中所要用到的圖片,提早一個星期布置下去,要求他們用彩筆畫在白色的硬紙片上,在紙片的背面再寫上圖畫所表達的單詞及其音標,為了便於以後保存,我對紙片的大小作了統一的規定。一周後,一些「作品」被運用在課堂上。這樣,在課外學生都興趣盎然地製作圖片,課上他們都期待著自己「作品」的出現。開展畫圖片活動,其意義已經超出圖片的本身,它讓學生體會到成功,這種成功的喜悅大大激發了學英語的興趣,使學生願意來上英語課。此外畫圖片,也培養了學生的繪畫能力,開發他們的智力,也可讓他們先熟悉一下將要教的新課,達到預習的目的,真是一舉多得!
四、自編短劇,調動學習積極性。
學習要「學以致用」,而英語的學習更是如此。我們要讓學生學了英語後,要會開口說英語。為此,每節課,筆者都花五分鍾左右時間讓學生到講台前表演他們自編的課本劇。具體做法如下:上課前,由當天的值日生(兩個),先用英語作Duty Report.內容有:星期、日期、出席情況、天氣等。(未學到的項目可適當刪減)。然後由這兩個值日生,或者他們再邀請別的兩三個同學一起,表演他們課前已編排好的短劇,劇情可依照已學過的課文的情景,也可自己創設情景,但是台詞必需要運用已學過的類型。之所以這樣做,為了復習舊課,而這種復習不是簡單的重復,而一種創造,是語言的活用,從而加深對新學內容的理解,最終達到「學以致用」。自編自演課本劇,讓學生在笑聲中復習,鞏固舊知識,避免了讓學生緊張得窒息的提問復習法,而收效卻遠遠超過後者,這點,筆者深有體會,一些學生畢業後,仍戀戀不忘他們英語課上的五分鍾表演。這種方法能使學生處於積極主動的學習狀態,也能培養學生的創造思維能力,試得一試。
五、開展競賽,調動學習興趣。
初中學生具有進取心和榮譽感,尤其在市場經濟競爭的熏陶下,學生的競爭意識更加激烈。將競爭機制引入英語課堂教學中來,則是一種行之有效的形式。例如,我們可以將日常口頭操練用語變化成競賽用語;問答可以來一個「搶答」;拼讀學詞,來一個拼「單詞大王」競賽,以及書寫比賽,猜謎語大賽,傳悄悄話競賽等多種多樣的形式;再用積分法,給予鼓勵效果更佳。課堂上適當的競賽,學生樂於參與,樂於爭先,樂於學習,這就調動了全體學生的學習興趣。
六、因地制宜,誘發學習英語興趣
長樂是僑鄉,近年來出國打工的人猛增。出了國的人,更是深刻地體會到懂英語的好處,由於這些申請出國的人或已經出了國的人,就是學生所熟悉的人,因此他們覺得可信,對英語也有了興趣,當然筆者也注意幫助學生樹立遠大的理想,告訴他們學英語並不只是為了出國打工,真正的用途是為了讓中國走向世界。
總之,興趣是推動學生學習的內存動力。教師要因時、因地、因人,創設多種能激發學生學習興趣的教學情景,以增強英語課堂教學效果,提高學生的英語水平。

一、提高英語閱讀能力需要有概括閱讀能力
閱讀文章時,要注意引導學生找出每段的主題。可先從辨認主題句開始,沒有主題句的段落就引導學生依靠段落中的銜接、句際關系來分析、推斷和概括段落的大意。對所學文章要點,教師提出要求,學生閱讀,尋找答案、引導學生閱讀時注意抓住全文的主旨;要求學生從每篇標題,到各個部分都進行概括、以歸納出要點,這樣就能了解全文的概貌。作了這樣的概括閱讀,文章更易理解。概括閱讀要注意上下段結構上的銜接,語義上的連貫,注意段與段之間的關系。概括閱讀還有助於學生把握上下文之間的意義聯系,培養學生的綜合概括能力。
二、提高英語閱讀能力需要有辨詞能力
閱讀應採取快速閱讀法,這種閱讀並不是簡單地瀏覽,而應講求實效,力求做到理解與速度並進。因此,快速准確地辨別單詞詞性和理解詞義是閱讀的必要條件。理解是學生掌握閱讀技能最主要的標志,培養學生辨別單詞的能力,幫助學生建立單詞的音、形、義之間的聯系,能讀懂詞、句、段、篇,才能逐步理解全文。
1.通過構詞法分析,掌握構詞的特點,前綴,後綴和詞根意義,幫助學生理解上下文中的單詞的意義轉換。如:careful,unhappy,kindness,dishonest....等單詞,ful(形容詞後綴),un(否定前綴),ness(名詞後綴),dis(否定前綴)。
2.在我們學過的單詞中,有些詞義不只一個,這就需要視具體情況來具體判定。比如:.在這個句子中,little這個單詞我們學過的意思有兩個,分別是"一點兒"和"小的",而根據句子的含義可以推斷出它是"小的"的意思。所以培養學生猜詞的能力是我們在外語教學中十分重要而有意義的一個環節。
三、提高英語閱讀能力需要有復述能力
復述是有效地提高學生閱讀能力的主要手段。讀過每篇文章後,用自己的話去概括,摘錄其中的重點句子,復述其內容。在復述的過程中,學生常常會經過三個階段:
第一,當教師要求復述整篇課文(或某一重要段落)時,有的學生就不知所措,力不從心。不是整篇整段地照抄照搬,就是無話可述的冷場現象。第二,學生在經過第一階段的閱讀之後,心中逐漸地掌握了句子之間的內在邏輯聯系,通過正確的文法表達,就可以大致地把課文復述出來,這時的復述意境是"似會非會,說不會,還能講出許多段子里的只言片語"。第三,是在前兩個階段的基礎上,學生自己比較准確地縮短原文。具有創造性地改寫原文,用自己的語言敘述,能夠發展學生的想像能力和思維能力,並促進學生書面語言和口頭語言的發展,特別是對寫作能力的提高有著不可估量的作用。
四、提高英語閱讀能力需要有質疑能力
古語雲:"學則須疑",在英語閱讀教學中,要通過文章的內容,引導學生思維,分析問題,獲得知識。有疑是深入學習的起點,有疑才有問,才有研,有疑才意味著有學習的主動性和積極性。怎樣在英語閱讀教學中,培養質疑能力?如:,andtogointotheiroffices,,carorbus.當學生基本理解這句話的意思,然後教師提出問題,啟發學生回答。聽學生回答問題的過程中就能搞清學生的薄弱環節在哪裡。這樣閱讀時,就能有的放矢,既不浪費時間,又能吸引學生的注意力。當學生理解了,就啟發學生,"質疑"來發現問題。此句prefer怎麼不接doing(動名詞)呢?學生的回答欠嚴密,教師作必要的補充。學生在解答問題的同時,閱讀能力和口語能力都得到了鍛煉。這樣也提高了學生的邏輯思維能力和運用能力。
總之,英語閱讀能力的培養在英語教學中有著非常重要的地位,教師應該根據教學實際和學生情況,採取靈活、多樣的方法手段,對學生進行系統的、科學的訓練。同時要求學生課外自己還要多讀、多練,保證一定的閱讀量。經過師生雙方配合,共同努力,學生的英語閱讀能力一定會得到大幅度地提高,取得令人滿意的成績。

你好,我是一名英語老師,關於英語閱讀學習方法,要抓住兩個個重點。
1、詞彙方面:詞彙是英語學習的基礎。
很多學生反映,在閱讀過程中覺得有些單詞非常面熟,可卻不知道是什麼意思,所以整篇文章理解起來記憶不知所雲,造成閱讀障礙。如果考試大綱要求記憶的詞彙沒有掌握的話,在通篇理解文章時就會困難重重。高效閱讀的方法需要訓練,是一種眼腦相互協調的高效率學習方法,一般情況下,培養閱讀者直接把視覺器官感知的文字元號轉換成意義,消除頭腦中潛在的發聲現象,形成眼腦直映,結合記憶訓練,用以提高學習效率。
