說課教案
（一） 教學內容
1． 本課是Unit 2 heroes Lesson 1 Modern Heroes 的第一課時。本單元分別介紹了National hero， History makers，Sports stars 和 Superhero。這幾篇文章的主題都是hero，但涉及的領域不同，它們融會貫通，承上啟下，融為一體。
2． 本課是介紹National Hero，是學生比較熟悉和感興趣的話題，前部分需要介紹楊利偉和神州五號，讓學生掌握有關詞彙；後一部分是介紹楊利偉乘坐神州五號宇宙飛船遨遊太空的情況。
3． 本課文出現了較多的定語從句，還有生詞較多（有些單詞表沒有而初中又沒有學過），在這樣的困難前提下，我引導學生通過 culture and background knowledge，結合課本內容豐富自己的知識面，拓寬學生對航天知識的了解，讓學生了解航天英雄的成功之路，激發他們的民族自豪感。
（二） 學生分析
1． 組成情況
職業高中高一學生年齡都在14－16歲之間，大多數學生由於初中的知識基礎打得不扎實，而且缺乏主動學習的能動性，自學能力差，對學習沒有持有探究性和方向性，也沒有養成良好英語學習習慣，所以學習成績不太理想。
2． 學生的知識與技能水平
職業高中招生的學生，基礎知識比較薄弱，甚至連音標都不會讀，詞彙的掌握范圍狹窄，影響了閱讀，聽力和作文。學生的表達能力還是停留在比較低級的水平，面對每幅圖片或某個主題只能說出一兩句話，而且在閱讀上，未能掌握泛讀和精讀的技巧和方法，課後的預習和復習能力較差，缺乏總結歸納的能力。
3． 學生已掌握的學習策略
盡管學生的知識和技能水平一般，但經過了一定時間的訓練後，他們還是掌握了pair work, group work, using the culture and background knowledge的閱讀技巧。
（三） 教學目標
1． 通過快速閱讀文章，學生能夠對每段文章進行歸納總結，准確地把段落主題與所給的headings聯系起來。
2． 通過仔細閱讀，學生能夠回答關於文章的細節問題。
3． 通過進一步閱讀，學生能夠學生能用英語對采訪自己心目中的民族英雄。並嘗試復述課文。
（四） 教學策略
教學方法：使用交際法，充分調動學生的積極性，積極參與到課堂教學中，通過師生互動，小組表演的形式，完成各種任務，以達到完成教學任務的途徑。
（五） 教學過程
第一步 導入
T: Good morning, Everyone! Do you like watching movies? Do you know Jet Lee (李連傑)？Do you know one of his famous movie called HERO? What does 『hero』 mean? Who are the heroes in your heart? Do you know Yan Liwei, our national hero?
第二步 介紹文章人物
T: Open your books, and turn to page 100 and 101. Let』s read two passages about Shenzhou V and Yang Liwei.
Shenzhou V is China』s first manned spaceship. It lifted off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15th, 2003 in Jiuquan, Gansu Province. It was carrying Yang Liwei. It was launched very successfully and landed in Inner Mongolia safely.
Yang Liwei is China』s first astronaut. He was a pilot in the army. He was chosen from 1,500 other army pilots and started training for his space flight in 1998. During the 21-hour space flight, he circled the earth 14 times. When the spaceship was doing its seventh circle, Yang Liwei showed the flags of China and the United Nations, expressing the wishes of the Chinese people to explore and use space peacefully.

2. What did Yang Liwei do ring the Shenzhou V』s seventh circle of the earth?
3. How many circles did the spaceship complete while Yang Liwei was sleeping?
4. What were helicopters doing as Yang Liwei returned to the earth』s atmosphere?
5. What did Yang Liwei do when he came out of the spaceship?
第四步 鞏固練習
通過兩次閱讀讓學生對課文熟悉，訓練學生的閱讀速度和解題技巧，最後通過ask and answer in pairs，培養學生的口語能力，並強迫他們記住文章的主要內容，為下一步語言運用打下基礎。

第五步 語言運用
為提高學生對生活中的熱點問題發表自己觀點的能力，讓學生運用自己學過的語言知識，對自己心目中的民族英雄進行模擬采訪。把全班同學分成若干個小組，每個小組有一名同學扮演「楊利偉」，其他同學為全國各地新聞媒體記者，他們自由設計問題，對「楊利偉」進行采訪。
教師巡視課堂，發現表現出色的小組，讓他們到台前表演。

教師總結評價。

第六步 布置作業
讓學生准備復述楊利偉的故事，要求說出自己的民族自豪感。

A Teaching Plan for Unit 3 Celebration Lesson 1 Festivals
HUANG SHUI PING

General objectives:

如何提高高中英語閱讀能力

一 高中英語新課標對教學的要求
《新課程標准》（簡稱新《課標》）要求學生具備綜合閱讀的能力，包括語篇領悟能力和語言解碼能力；強調多學科知識的貫通；注重培養學生的語篇分析能力、判斷能力以及根據寓意進行邏輯推理的能力，提高其閱讀速度增加其閱讀量和擴大其詞彙量等。.新《課標》還指出，要著重提高「學生用英語獲取信、處理信息、分析和解決問題的能力；逐步培養學生用英語進行思維和表達的能力。」
新〈課標〉提高了對高中學生閱讀能力的要求。如何提高學生的閱讀理解能力也一直是英語教師研究的課題。筆者近幾年來對此做了專門的研究。下面就學生中普遍存在的閱讀障礙進行分析並探索相應的解決策略。
二 閱讀障礙
影響閱讀理解的因素可分為知識性障礙和非知識性障礙。知識性障礙包括：1.詞彙障礙 2.語法障礙 3.背景知識障礙 。非知識性障礙包括：1. 心理障礙 2.閱讀習慣. 3.閱讀速度4.閱讀技巧
三 清除閱讀障礙，提高閱讀能力
（一）重視英語詞彙和習慣用法的積累
美國語言學家Driller (1978)根據詞彙統計特徵指出：如果我們認得25個最常見的英文單詞，平均每頁紙上的詞我們會認得33%；如果認得135個常用詞，則為50%；如果認得2500個，則為78%；如果認得5 000個，則為80%；一旦記得10 000個，可達92%。可見，閱讀能力的高低和詞彙量的大小是分不開的，目前大部分學生的詞彙量偏少, 這是影響學生閱讀能力提高的主要因素。那麼怎樣才能提高學生的詞彙量呢？
1. 構詞記憶法
據估計，英語詞彙有100萬到120萬，但大部分單詞是由構詞法構成的。構詞法包括派生、合成和轉化。在教學中，讓學生掌握常用的前綴（un/dis/im/il /super.）、後綴( ly/ less/ ful/ ment…)的含義及用法，就可以根據已知詞猜出它的派生詞，從而達到擴大詞彙的目的。如：前綴super 有超過，超越的含義，就可以猜出supermarket （超級市場）supernatural (超自然的)、 superman （超人）、superstar （超級明星）等詞的含義。。
2 .聯想記憶法
由一個詞聯想到和它有關或無關的詞，如看到live vi 生活，聯想到其他詞性及用法，如：直播的、活的等詞義。
3. 廣泛閱讀記憶法
「To read well, you need a strong vocabulary.. To build a strong vocabulary, you need to read well.」 這句名言道出了閱讀和詞彙量的關系。要有流利的閱讀，就必須有豐富的詞彙。大量的閱讀可以豐富你的詞彙。
（二） 牢固掌握語法知識
近年來的NMET閱讀理解短文的句式結構趨向復雜，語法知識在閱讀中的作用已經突顯出來。如在閱讀中遇到另人費解的長句、難句，就可以藉助語法，對句子進行適當的分析，搞清各部分的關系，從而准確理解整句的意思。以Decision-thinking is not unlike poker-it often matters not only what you think, but also what others think you think and what you think they think you think.(NMET 2000) 為例。該句的29個詞中包含了主語從句，賓語從句、並列句和破折號連接的附加說明等多種關系。其中並列句中又有復合句，復合句中又有並列句。只有把句子的成分一一理清，才能掌握其意思。
（三）積累一定的文化背景知識和生活知識
英語閱讀能力的提高不僅需要一定的語言知識，還要有一定的文化背景知識和生活知識。例如在NMET2003的閱讀理解A篇，該篇選材涉及地理，介紹了兩座farthest/ most distant inhabited islands，一個為Guinness Book of Records 所認定的Tristan da Cunha;另一為復活島（Easter Island）文章中出現了較多的專有名詞，對於閱讀經驗不足的同學會形成干擾，而對於那些對Easter Day 等背景知識了解的同學，相對就會好些。另外在C篇中，出現了書刊號，如果學生熟悉這些，就會減少好多閱讀困難。
（四）培養良好的閱讀習慣，掌握有效的閱讀技巧
要養成良好的閱讀習慣，就要求學生平時多朗讀，背誦精彩段落和文章，以培養語感。另外，有的同學在閱讀時出聲讀、點讀或回讀，這些不良習慣都會影響閱讀速度和對文章的理解。所以要使學生克服這些不良習慣，作到不回讀，不聲讀，不點讀等。只有這樣，閱讀速度才能加快，理解的准確率才能提高。
除了良好的閱讀習慣外，也要掌握正確的閱讀技巧。教師要指導學生形成正確的思維方法。一般閱讀時應注意以下幾點：
1、略讀（Skimming）即迅速瀏覽全文，抓住文章大意和主題句，明確作者的態度和意圖。
2、跳讀（Skipping） 即快速查找某一相關信息，讀時要一目十行，對不相關的內容一帶而過。
3、猜測生詞(Guessing the new words) 在閱讀過程中，學生不可避免的會遇到生詞。如果一遇到生詞就去查字典，或跳過去不看，都會影響對文章的理解。這樣就要猜測生詞的意思。不同的語境，單詞的意思也就不一樣。所以要根據上下文線索和構詞法等知識去猜測。
目前NMET中的閱讀量越來越大，在閱讀教學中還要堅持限時閱讀訓練，以提高閱讀的速度。
「冰凍三尺，非一日之寒」 提高學生的閱讀能力，不是一朝一夕就能做到的。只要堅持正確的閱讀方法，培養興趣，廣泛閱讀，積累詞彙，並且養成良好的閱讀習慣，學生的閱讀理解能力一定會逐步提高。
