題主，其實很簡單。"... , who earns their living"意思是：他（莎士比亞）給了他們（Startford的居民）一條謀版生的路/一種謀生方權式。粗俗一點說就是：小鎮居民們靠莎士比亞混口飯吃。（我也看過這篇文章，我記得前面部分說Startford靠莎士比亞故居和RSC的戲劇帶來的演員、遊客從而旅遊業繁榮，然後鎮上居民靠經營旅館、商店之類生活什麼的...應該是這個意思吧...）"who"指的是莎士比亞；「their」指Startford的居民；「was himself...帶有強調的意味，確切的中文翻譯不好翻，也可以不翻譯出來，此處略帶諷刺當地居民的意味；「share」字面意思是「一份」，這里指的是莎士比亞也經常製造噪音，呼應上文小鎮居民不喜歡RSC的演員，討厭他們的胡須、涼鞋和噪音。
