小學英語閱讀理解問題
㈠ 淺析小學英語閱讀教學需注意的幾個問題
隨著新課程改革的逐步發展,小學課堂發生了很大的變化。如今,大部分老師都遵循這樣的教學理念,以學生為主體,進行小組合作,參與討論以及匯報,對小組的匯報加以補充或是提出建議,把課堂交還給學生,讓學生成為學習的主人。當然,英語教師也不例外,他們能夠設計豐富多彩的教學活動,諸如說唱歌謠、做游戲、角色扮演,改編對話及表演,還有直觀教具演示等。但與此同時,教師在英語教學活動中,閱讀教學並沒有發揮其應當具有的作用。在我從教這幾年來,我覺得大部分教師對學生英語閱讀能力的培養不夠重視,包括我自己也會出現此類情況,這樣會很容易導致提前出現兩極分化的現象。優秀的學生不用老師在課堂上多講,他們只要自己做好前置學習就能解決很多問題。但學困生呢?他們前置學習不會去做,甚至於課堂上也不用心聽講,他們有些同學還會表現在課堂上昏昏欲睡,興趣不高,總是呈現一種似懂非懂的狀態。這樣,他們的閱讀能力就很貧乏了,更別說擴大閱讀量,提高閱讀能力了。雖然說在小學五、六年級閱讀課佔了一定比例,但是如何更好地進行小學英語閱讀教學呢?我覺得這對我們一線教師來說都是一項挑戰。下面我就結合自己的實際教學來談談。
在小學英語教學中,我們首先要知道什麼是屬於閱讀材料,也就是閱讀的板塊。就拿PEP教材來說,五,六年級課本中的(Read and write, Let's read,Story time)都是屬於閱讀板塊。像前面幾個板塊,如:Let's learn、Let's find out、Let's try、Let's talk等的作用是學習新詞和新語句,練習新詞和新句。如果我們把這些稱作單項練習的話,那麼Read and write,Let's read,Story time這些板塊就是綜合練習了,把在前面幾個板塊中學到的新詞和新語句,放在一個情景里,通過一小篇閱讀文章,再一次呈現給學生,再一次讓學生體會和感知新語言的使用場景,這一板塊起著復習鞏固的作用。而且這一板塊不僅有情景,絕大部分的語言還是學生學習過的,即便有一些新的語言出現,這些新的語言都是場景對話時所必需要的,所以這些新語言不太會影響學生的理解,另外這一板塊還有相應的練習,幫助學生理解閱讀材料和發展相應的技能。如:B5 Unit1 Part B:Describe Jim's new math teacher. B7 Unit1 Part A Answer the questions,閱讀理解的練習已經設計好了,教師可以利用,當然我們也可以根據學生的需要再重新進行設計,盡量做到這些問題是面向全體學生。
在進行小學英語閱讀教學時,我們大致可以把學生閱讀材料的過程劃分為pre-reading(閱讀前), while-reading(閱讀中)和after-reading(閱讀後)三部分。上個月,我和同事前往深圳進行名思教研的學習,那些老師大部分進行閱讀教學時,他們也是採取讀前,讀中,讀後活動的設計,而且效果也是非常不錯的,學生們都樂於接受,也易於接受,並且對本節課的學習都掌握得不錯,對本次的閱讀內容大部分都能熟練地復述,甚至進行改編和表演,學生們興致也大大地提高了。自然而然,這樣的話老師的教與學生的學就會進行得很順利,甚至可以達到事半功倍的效果。所以,每次進行閱讀教學時,我通常都會布置學生進行前置學習,也就是我們平時所說的課前預習,那麼這也就是我們要進行的閱讀前(pre-reading)活動了。接著在課上會有設計閱讀中(while-reading)的問題等,最後完成閱讀後(after-reading)的內容。就拿我去年所教的六年級上冊PEP7 Unit 6 The Story of Rain這一課的閱讀教學來說,我是這樣設計的:1、閱讀前(pre-reading)1)學生在課前准備有關於水循環的相關知識。教師呈現小水滴與風交談的教學掛圖或課件,運用設疑法(提出幾個與閱讀材料相聯系的問題:水是從哪裡來的?你知道水循環的路線圖嗎?)讓學生愉快地走入文章之中,激發起學生的閱讀興趣。2) 能夠通過查字典或聯繫上下文猜測生詞的意思。進入閱讀的提高階段學習,教師應該讓學生明白閱讀文章時很少有不遇到生詞的情況,要努力培養學生遇到生詞不驚慌的學習態度,並能通過各種積極的方式解決。聯繫上下文猜測,再通過查字典確認是很好的一種方法。學生很快地找出生詞並進行了猜測,再進行驗證後,猜對的同學十分興奮。這樣做很好地培養了學生聯繫上下文理解單詞能力,更有利於學生從整體來把握篇章的意思,從而提高閱讀能力。2、閱讀中(while-reading)閱讀過程是得到樂趣獲取所需信息的過程,有略讀、精讀和查讀(帶著問題讀)等方法。在閱讀中我提倡綜合運用以上幾種閱讀方法。第一遍:略讀。 讓學生找出文章中的關鍵詞,確定段落主題句。第二遍:查讀。我設計了如下問題
