從前有一個老農民，他有一匹馬。那馬差不多和他一樣老。一天早晨，農民和他的兒子帶著那匹老馬一起出去，老農民想趁馬還沒老死把它賣了。農民帶著兒子還有那匹馬一起走，因為老人不想讓馬太勞累了。。。。。。。
在路上，他們遇到兩個男人。那兩個男人說：「老頭，市場離這那麼遠！為什麼走啊？你有馬啊！！」老農民聽著說的也對，便騎上馬。但是他的兒子還要走啊。。。。。。。。。
接著他們又遇到兩個老婦人，老婦人說：「看那個父親在做什麼啊？難道你看不到那個孩子有多累嗎！？」所以農民又讓他的兒子騎馬，自己走路。。。。。。。。。。
後來三個老人阻止了他們，一個說道：「老頭，為什麼你走路？？這么熱的天氣你不應該這樣啊！！快騎上馬吧！！」老農民就又騎上那匹馬，坐在兒子的後面。。。。。。。。。
一段時間以後，一個年輕的婦人路過問道：「為什麼你們不走路呢？這離交易市場不遠了。讓你的老馬好好休息吧。。」
所以農民和他的兒子又從馬背上下來。。。。。。。。。
