大学英语六级作文部分阅卷标准分为5等：2分、5分、8分、11分和14分。

5分(35)——基本切题，表达思想不够清楚，连贯性差，有较多的严重错误。
8分(56)——基本切题，有些地方表达思想不够清楚，文字勉强连贯，语言错误相当多，其中有一些是严重错误。
11分(78)——切题，表达思想清楚，文字连贯，但有少量语言错误。
14分(99）——切题，表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯较好，基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小错。
另有各档次标准样卷，阅卷人员参照样卷对考生的作文进行评分，首先看考生的作文和哪个档次的样卷接近，然后上下浮动1分。字数不足应酌情扣分：

白卷，作文与题目毫不相关，或只有几个孤立的词而无法表达思想的，判为0分。
英语六级考试中翻译部分占总分的15%，即106.5，在这部分你要达到63.9分为及格。
分为六个档次：13-15分、10-12分、7-9分、4-6分、1-3分和0分，各档次的评分标准如下：
13-15分译文准确表达了原文的意思。用词贴切，行文流畅，基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小错。
10-12分译文基本上表达了原文的意思。文字通顺、连贯，无重大语言错误。
7-9分译文勉强表达了原文的意思。用词欠准确，语言错误相当多，其中有些是严重语言错误。
4-6分译文仅表达了一小部分原文的意思。用词不准确，有相当多的严重语言错误。
1-3分译文支离破碎。除个别词语或句子，绝大部分文字没有表达原文意思。
0分未作答，或只有几个孤立的词，或译文与原文毫不相关。
所以，想要英语六级作文和翻译两部分一共达到140分还是有一点难度的。
