Interesting Things at College
We all are very aware of the fact that college students work hard, dedicate themselves, and find little time for relaxation. Many use their extra time to work outside of college or perhaps enjoy a sporting event or two. Every place has a bit of humor attached to it or our existence would be very boring. College students find that humor really lights up once in awhile perhaps in an announcement or by a lecture by one of the teachers. In any case we thought that it might prove to be interesting to put out a bit of humor that some of the college students have encountered over the years. Please still laugh even if you heard these jokes before, ha, ha, my boss might be listening.
Every year the Dean address’s the freshmen class about the dormitory rules. The rules are simply put guys stay out of the girl’s dorm and girls stay out of the guy’s dorm. This year the Dean added that the facility had decided to fine anyone who breaks the rule. The first offense he stated will cost you $25, the second offense will cost you $50 and the third time will cost you a much heftier fine of $200. Then he ended by asking if there were any questions? One of the boys piped up, “How much for a season pass?” At that the Dean realized the fining would not be appropriate.
Next we are going to go to one of the favorite places that normally everyone attends on campus beside the cafeteria it is the Computer Lab. Now the Computer Lab can be very scary and intimidating for those of us who are not very computer savvy. Those who are familiar with the surroundings using the lab on a day to day basis are apt to poke fun or become annoying just distract or cause us to lose computer time.
Computer Lab Annoying Tips
Type very frantically, then stop, and look at the person next to you with an evil glean in your eye.
Complain to the monitor on ty that your computer will not work, but make sure that it is turned off first.
Why not connect each computer to a different screen than the one it’s set up with to find out the expressions on the faces of others.
You can write a program that plays the theme song of one of the old TV programs like Green Acres and play it over and over at a very high volume.
One of the most frightening things to the person next to you is to ask them if they know how to type into the top secret files at the Pentagon. Then tell them you do can you use their terminal for a while.
These are really corny ways to be annoying but some people find that just reading them makes a person laugh.

这是我从别的地方转过来的，写的还不错，感觉对你这样的情况应该能有所帮助，你看看吧~~
1。首先大家要清楚一般作文的给分分为0分，2分，5分，8分，11分和14分这几段。所以给改卷老师的第一印象很重要，可以直接影响给分的分段。那么怎么样能给老师一个很好的印象？大家首先一定要注意自己的书写工整干净，还有一定要写出一个清楚的三段式。如果写一段最多得到4-5分，如果写了2段最多也只能得到6-7分。所以作文的框架和书写是让老师给你一个不错分植段的关键之关键。
2。做好了上面的要求之后，改卷老师就会重点看这三个地方，在第一段的最后一到两句话有没有清楚地给出文章的中心句。接着就会看文章的主题第二段有没有清楚的次观点来支持说明文章的中心句，这时还会重点找一些连接词和过渡词，他们使支持次观点从结构上清楚的展现。最后就会看最后一段的句首部分有没有表示文章结束的过渡词和对文章观点的再次陈述。在这个部分就要求大家一定要对作文的常考形式说明文，议论文还有书信这几中问题最起码的结构要很清楚，怎么开始，怎么写主体部分，怎么结论要一个很好的结构了解。
3。老师在改卷的时候会重点注意句子语法错误，所以大家一定尽量少的语法错误。即使句子简单，只要错误少，也能得到不错的分数。还有如果可能的话可以用一些短语，比较好的词来换掉一些比较普通词语，这样也能提高分数。但是如果大家对这些词没把握的话，就最好用自己熟悉的词，即使很简单也没很大的关系。
总之，如果大家要取得更好的成绩，最快最好的方式就是要注意自己文章的书写以及整体文章的清楚结构，即使不会使用很多不错的词组和短语，也达到不错的效果。
英语学习 是一个长期积累的过程，短时间内只能会舍本逐末、杯水车薪。但是我们可以通过掌握考试 规律来调整临考状态、提高应考能力。
首先要休息好。很多同学都会在临考前进入临考状态，经常的表现就是夜不能寐。通宵达旦的熬夜，其实这对于像四六级 考试这样的考试而言是百害而无一益的。因为四六级考试对于每个学生来说，不仅是一次英语水平的综合测试，也是一种意志力、甚至是体力的考验。没有良好的休息，考生很难笑到最后。所以，保证充足的睡眠是必要的。
然后是营养。参加四级 考试的同学，早餐要定时定量，不可或缺。对于那些体质虚弱的同学可以服用一些营养品，不过，安眠药等有副作用的药物要慎用，否则过有不及。
心理因素也很重要。随着四六级考试的改革的深入，会有更多、更新的题目，包括作文题目的出现，这就要求我们处惊不变。即使出现未料到的题型，考生也要及时调整好心态、从容不迫地应答。事实和经验表明：题目要求越高，难度越大，考生发挥的余地也越大。
要熟悉老师的评分习惯，考生可以正常甚至超常发挥自身水平。评分重点在于文章的结构和语言水平。除此以外，有“两个基本点”即闪光点和语法点。比较好的范文中，我们可以看到像提问法、谚语总结法、从句、并列句、理由段公式、理由词汇、路线句型、插入语、名词化以及被动语态等闪光点，而在一篇低分例文中，基本的语言错误则多的数不胜数。
审题。在落笔前花费三分钟时间进行思考，可以利于理清行文思路，避免差之毫厘、失之千里。尤其在应对图表累作文，要看清图表，把握好各个数据的变化和相互关系。
卷面。作为作文这种主观题来讲，考生与阅卷老师是彼此互动、相互影响的一个考生可以做的，首先是通过卷面给阅卷老师下意识地传达这个信息。用笔的颜色(深蓝色使人心情放松愉快)、粗细(粗线条给人以安全感)，整齐划一的格式(段首或一律顶格或一律空两格)，明了的段落感(每段空一行)，清晰的字数感(一行以十字位宜)，工整的字迹都会给任何阅读者留下深刻的正面印象，从而使考生先发制人、取得先机。
表达。言之无文，行而不远。语言作为评分原则中的基本要素之一，在四六级作文评分的整个过程中具有决定性作用。有评分老师甚至断言：“It is not what you say, it is the way that you say it.”(重要的并不在于考生写了些什么，而在于考生是怎么表达的。)虽然这种说法本身似乎有失偏颇，可是参加过国际标准化英语考试的同学应该也听说过那么一句话，叫做：“Give the monkey exactly what he wants.”(给阅卷老师最想要的。)，不是吗？譬如同样是描述数据，一些同学拘泥于图表本身，动辄按部就班地引用图表上现成的数字和年代，其实这都是图表作文的忌讳。聪明的同学引而不用，他们常喜欢用倍数、分数、小数、百分比、或者一些动词(double / triple / quadruple)来表现极端数据，动态数据以及他们的相异之处。
检查。行百里者半九十。一篇成功的作文少不了反复推敲、一再修改。然而，由于考试时间和条件等诸多因素的限制，考生绝对需要慎重对待作文的检查和修改。这里，我不得不提考生检查作文时的三大“通病”，即，数字数、孤芳自赏、和做结构与内容上的修改。我们必须明确：考试作文的润色和修改只需要达到三个目的即可：
1. 拼写正确，看文章中是否有汉字、多余符号、糊乱涂改、划线、和错别字；
2. 搭配正确；
3. 语法正确，特别是人称、时态、和单复数的三"一致"。

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.
