您好，希望对您有帮助

扩展知识面的话，不建议您做太多的题。
因为七八年级阶段英语都不是很困难，笔试一般没问题，而且其他科目也很忙。
但可以给您参考一些，如金牌练习册等。
但要做的话，建议还是专门做一些完形填空、阅读理解的一些专项训练，
这个可能是很多同学进入九年级甚至高中的难关。
您可以去书店参考一下，自己选选，或者网购，咨询老师等等。

另外，要给您推荐的是【牛津阅读树】这个系列，
这个系列一般是针对美国3-4岁儿童的专门读物，
其实我不太赞同楼上的说学习新概念英语，
给您打个比方说，新概念知识点在初中阶段是不常有的，
而每一课的词汇量又很大，学了无处可用，
反而成为您的负担，导致学别的也“内存不足”。

给您推荐的这套书是外国人编写的，可以使您的语感、思想等各方面更接近外国，
您不要觉得是5-6岁外国小孩子看的，幼稚，其实里面的知识是初中阶段很多都会学到的，
它共分为十几个级别，每级都有50-60本小故事，每本都是很简单的，
它比起新概念而言，就相当于把新概念的一课分成若干小本，知识点明确，
而您每周只需学习一两本即可，不要贪多，
学到的达到要求的境界就是是您真正面对此场景时，能把里面的对话脱口而出。

当然，学习是一定要配录音而听的，而且建议您先听录音，培养自己的听力，
当自己某单词、句子无法听清后再看原本，培养自己听力和阅读纯外文书的习惯其实才是关键。
