培养学生阅读能力要注意 要获得好的阅读效果和理想的阅读速度，有必要了解阅读过程的心理机制和特点。要培养学生流畅阅读能力，就必须了解影响或者促进阅读的各种因素，一般来说，影响阅读的因素有： （一）小学生在阅读中存在的困难： 1. 心理障碍 缺乏必要的背景知识是造成阅读困难的主要原因之一（Carrell,1983）; 小学生知识面窄，常因不了解背景知识而无法顺利阅读。词汇的扩充是阅读理解的主要组成部分。词汇量的大小预示着阅读能力的高低。 据调查，90%有阅读困难的学生都有词汇缺乏的问题。由于小学生词汇量少，在阅读中“拦路虎”较多，虽然读了，但不能理解其内容，往往使小学生对英语阅读产生惧怕心理，对英语读物望而生畏,造成心理紧张，而越紧张就越难以读懂，形成失败定势。 2. 缺乏语感能力 语感能力是学生在掌握知识和培养各种言语技能到一定程度时获得的一种能力。在国内学习英语的环境中，听、说、写的机会较少，我们必须是通过大量阅读各种英语书报杂志来丰富我们的“语感” (即对英语的感性认识)，扩大英语词汇量，提高英语理解和表达能力。小学生语感能力还未形成，理解力也差，不善于猜测词义，几乎每句话都要通过翻译成汉语才能继续阅读，阅读速度异常缓慢。 3. 缺乏有效的阅读策略 小学生年纪小，阅读经验不足。没有一套适合自己的阅读策略。如：不会抓文章段落大意，不会找关键词，不懂得词义猜测，当面对文章里的一些新单词，就显得缺乏信心，变得害怕阅读。不懂得通过上下文联系、插图来帮助自己理解文章意思等。有效的阅读策略可以帮助那些在词语解码（包括词语认知和词语辨别）、阅读的流畅性、回忆阅读内容以及理解力等方面存在困难的学生。 4. 不良的阅读习惯 由于缺少系统的阅读指导和训练，学生形成了种种不良的阅读习惯，如机械性地阅读，用手指点着单词。一个接一个地阅读，头部来回移动。由于缺乏速度和技巧的训练，很多学生对模糊语义的容忍度较小，见到生词就查字典，阅读效率较低。（二）了解阅读的心理过程 用心理学的角度来看，英语阅读是非常复杂的心理认知活动，它可分为感知和理解两个阶段。阅读过程，由于学生水平上的个体差异，阅读的效率也有所不同。教师应针对不同学生的能力，授予合适他们的阅读策略。 织梦内容管理系统 三、阅读教学的开展①自上而下的阅读过程是指读者运用自己的知识进行阅读
