看来楼主抄还没有明白学校老师的袭要求你们读名著的意义,阅读的最大的好处就是在于提高阅读速度,增强英语语感。很多的时候,当楼主有语感了,做阅读理解的题时会很有帮助的,最牛的时候看一遍基本上就全部做出来了,要知道,阅读理解在英语考试时,分数所占总个试卷的比重至少在70%左右的。所以,如果把阅读理解的题做会了,那么英语一定是可以得高分的。但这个一定要坚持才行。深圳华亿天诚前前后后学了近10年的英语,总是断断续续的,所以,语感就是很差,这个就像体育锻炼一样,一段时间不跑步了,再去跑时就感觉跑不动了。所以,建议楼主尽量天天坚持看一些英文片段也行,养成快速阅读的习惯。那么,考试时真的不用担心了。

The Farmer, His Horse, and His son
Once there was an old farmer, with a horse which was almost as old as himself.
He set out one morning with his son to sell the horse before it died. Father
and son walked, because the farmer did not want the horse to be too tired.
They met two men on the road who said, "Why are you walking, farmer? You have
a horse, It's a long way to market(市场). "The farmer know that this was true,
so he rode on the horse, while his son walked.

不用一个词一个词的查字典翻译,理解大意就行。不过你们刚开始看名著专会有一定的困难,还是先看属与中文对照的比较好。我是英语专业大三的学生,我也在看名著,刚开始看的都是一些比较简单的,后来慢慢的看英文版的。一天读一到两个小时的计划很不错,希望你会坚持下去!加油!

⑼ 怎样阅读英文名著

这样读的话会很难。
英文的名著所用的语法会很多,但所有的对话都很精炼。
那么你可以通过内对话容来学习一些简单的日常用法,通过对于一些细微的描述方面增进自己对于英语语法的理解。
最好的学习方法是,旁边放一个笔记本,将不懂的记下来,然后通过字典去查找其意思,通过对于语法的判断和上下文的意思,读懂这几句。
开始的时候会非常的慢,但速度会越来越快,而且加上你的词汇量越来越多,看过20%的篇幅之后,基本你就不会再过多借助字典了,即使偶尔会有生词,通过上下文的意思,多半也能猜出来。
看完英文马上去看翻译的结果会是你越来越依赖依靠中文的解释去回过头判断某个单词的用法。而且,中文的翻译,不是直译过来的,而是意译,有时候放到某一个具体的词语的时候,并不是很准确的。

可以去读一些相对来说比较容易简单的英文名著。我之前有看过一本叫小王子的,这本书里面就是全英文,我看的就是很不费劲。
