Bungee jumping is a recreational activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord. Successful jumps can be attributed to the development of safety standards and the strict adherence to guidelines for jumping. Such guidelines include the diligent checking and double-checking of fittings for each jump.
