有帮助，但看你是追求快速大量增加词汇量，还是想稳扎稳打。
理论上说，阅读量达到一定程度，会发现词汇不是限制读下去的首要因素，而且很多单词都可以通过上下文明白它大概是什么意思，这个词反复出现3次以上，基本上就掌握了，下次阅读的时候再看到基本就没问题了。
显然，这个答案对于讲求“效率”的中国人是不能接受的。因为大家阅读时间本来就有限，还要上知乎，还要看微信，哪来那么多时间读书。我读书的时候会把不认识的单词都画出来，然后对反复出现又猜不出意思的查一下，记在一个本子里，对于看到的非常好的句子，习惯用语也会记下来，然后反复记忆。
我记单词的方法是：
A、把阅读中、生活中遇到的单词，记在一个小本子上面；
B、每天没事干就拿出小本子看一下，如果潜意识里明白这个单词是什么意思，比如指代的是什么事物、动作就跳过，想不出来的就查一下；记住是潜意识里知道就行，不必非要想起来对应的汉语是哪个词；

D、记的时候词意可以不准，拼写可以看个大概，但是读音一定要准，因为英语单词是表音词，不像中文是象形词，读错了听、写都会错。
