早上10点整我们全家怀着激动地心情目不转睛的看着中央电视台的现场实况直播，天安门广场上晴空万里，阳光明媚。在天安门城楼上站立着国家各级领导人，这时只听到刘奇宣布祖国六十周年国庆盛典现在开始。场上传来了排山倒海般的掌声。紧接着，那面五星国旗在天安门前渐渐升起。
国庆60周年大阅兵，不仅有陆军、海军、空军、第二炮兵部队，还有武警部队以及民兵和预备役部队，并且展示了一些新型武器装备。
10时09分，激昂的音乐声拉开了国庆60周年阅兵序幕。国家主席胡锦涛，在阅兵总指挥房峰辉陪同下，迎着受阅将士的注目礼，检阅了在长安街列阵的44个方队。
