如果你想提高英文水平的话，我个人推荐《怦然心动》。
哈利波特有很多魔法回的咒语以及一些魔法界的生僻词答汇；而追风筝的人隐含的寓意太深，需要多加揣测才能理解。二者都不是提高英语水平的作品。
怦然心动讲述的就是平常生活中两个孩子，两个家庭之间发生的故事，生活用语比较多，适合英语基础不好的人阅读。
