1、听力部分
听力测试旨在考查学生听音、辨音及听力理解和快速反应能力。满分为40分。一、听录音，选出所听到的单词或短语；二、听到你所听到的句子。三、听音，选择合适的答语。四、按照听到的录音，给图片标号。五、听音补全句子。题形多样，内容覆盖面大。只要学生养成了良好的学习习惯，能听懂指令，在平时学习中做到发音清楚、重音正确、语调达意，绝大多数学生都能得到较高的分数。整体来看，听力部分得分率相对来说比较高，大部分的学生都能拿到满分，失分较多的是第三题，学生有的不能领会录音内容中的关键信息点，有的能听懂句子但是不能根据句子的整体写出单词的恰当形式，以至造成失误。
2、笔试部分
笔试部分主要考查学生的语言基础知识和基本技能，包括词、词组、语法等方面的考查。现分述如下：
(一)、按要求写词，这道题答的还不错，因为大部分都是书上的词语，只要认真细心，失分的不太多。
(二)、单项选择 ，是属于基础知识，主要考查学生对课文中介词的掌握程度。这道题由于平时我们都让学生们背诵课文甚至于默写课文，所以失分的并不多，82%的学生都答的不错。
(三)、连词成句。 对于小学高年级的学生，这样的题目比较简单，得分率很高。
(四)、阅读理解。此题不难，有些生涩的单词已经给出相应的解释。但是对于有些题目的答案需要做一些句型转换，部分同学有些束手无策。所以以后我们应加强这方面的练习。
(五)、作文，作文也不难，在练习册中出现了，只不过多加了一点内容，本题失分出有两个地方，题目首字母应该大写，再一个是语句有些不太连贯。英语作文对于小学生来说是个难点，好的孩子能够完整的写出一篇文章，并且能够达到语句流畅，语法正确。但50%的学生不能作到这一点，主要错误出现在乱用时态，单词错误，语句不正确等。
