此题要求学生就文章提供的数据，以及数据与文中其他信息的关系做简单计算和推断。在做此类题时：

1.要抓住并正确理解与数据有关的信息含义。

2.弄清众多信息中那些属于有用信息，那些属于干扰信息。

3.不要孤立看待数字信息，而要抓住一些关键用语的意义。

识图解意题

此类插图题型是通过图解、地图或插图的形式，形象化地表现信息，用以降低试题的难度，是短文和题目不可缺少的组成部分。在做此类题时，要求学生一定要：

1.把文章与图示结合起来，图文互相参照、互相验证。

2.若是地图，则要做到方位明确。

3.要正确理解文中方位介词及有关信息词的重要意义。

主旨大意题

此类题型用以考查学生对文章主题或中心思想的领会和理解能力。一类题型为主题问题。

经验常识题

此类题主要是考查中学生应有的多项综合知识，包括：社会知识、天文知识、史地知识、科普知识及对生活常识的主观掌握程度。此类题往往与文章没有直接关系，学生只能凭自己的常识进行判断，然后做出正确、符合这些规律的选择。

考研英语阅读文章内容分析

从体裁上看，大纲要求考生能够顺利读懂四类文章，分别为议论文、说明文、记叙文和应用文。不过，考研阅读理解的文章大多为说明文或者议论文。针对这两类文章，应该有不同的阅读重点和策略。

另外在绝大多数情况下，历年真题的文章来源一般控制在过去的5年之内，即倘若2007年参加考研的话，2007年的文章一般来自于2001年到2006年之间的报刊杂志上。

但近五年的真题来源有所改变，一般选自过去两年内的杂志，甚至一年内的居多，可见文章的时效性越来越明显，所以阅读的范围也就小了很多。

英语阅读真题文章一般字数上控制在450字到550字之间，段落上一般控制在3到6个段落。所以可以把精力主要集中在符合前面字数、段落以及年份的文章来进行复习和阅读，如此一来就把复习的范围大为减少了。

一、揣摩段意：形成阅读后总结段落大意的习惯！阅读理解的出题模式，不管会有多么的刁钻，但是有一点是永远不会变的，那就是出题人也是必须先要熟读原文以后才能巧妙的找到出题点，所以说按照出题人的思维方式，读完以后一定是要自己先思考，比如读完这一段，大概是讲了个什么意思，根据这个意思可以设置什么问题，或者说在这一段里，哪一句最能体现本段的主旨大意，则会根据这一句来设置问题！

根据上述的出题思路，我们在日常的学习或者练习的过程中，要养成阅读完即能提炼出整个段落的主旨大意的能力，只有这样我们才能在读完文章后就能立刻抓住重点的能力，这样就能在第一时间抓住出题重点方向，从而按图索骥，最起码我们的思路不会走偏，那么正答率也就确保了八成以上！
